  1. Thanks. Is the rifled slug barrel purely just for slugs? or is there a groove for chokes?
  2. I purchased a Benelli M2 practical model. When it arrived I was suprised to find it had a ported barrel. is there a non-ported, non-ribbed 22-24 inch barrel available for the M2 practical model that I can purchase? thanks in advance for any advice
  3. Hello, I'm new to the forum but I've had my benelli M1 since 1997. I might have an answer to the problems your friends have about jamming. Dirt or fouling isn't the cause. About 6 years after I bought mine, it wouldn't cycle even when using big loads. We traced the problem to a small O-ring attached to a small pin at the back of the bolt that keeps the firing pin in place. If you replace that o-ring you shouldn't have any problems at all. You should be able to find that 0-ring at any car shop.
  4. Thanks I will. I use the M1 to compete in the IPSC standard shotgun or tactical 3gun division. The barrel has standard rifle sights which I prefer over ghost ring sights because it allows me a lower cheek weld. I just slap on a TruGlo fiberoptic sight. The M2 practical shotgun I have has a ported barrel with ghost ring sights and a pic rail which I plan to use in the open division. But I like the way how the comfortech stock feels in recoil. I'll try to see if I can fit it to the M1
