I've tried 2 different ones now, and neither will fit in the sling slot in the buttstock.

M4 is not on the list 'cause it's just too much $$$$$ Primarily for home defense, but I want to do some trap/skeet, and maybe some hunting down the road. I kind of like the fact you can manually eject a round out of the M3 if it doesn't cycle, but how often do you really need to do that if you're not shooting special LE non-lethal loads? Do M1's cycle reliably with a variety of loads, or do you have to use 00 buck?

See Nelli Girl's post in 2005 Benelli thread: http://www.benelliusa.com/forums/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/1184.html Looks like there are comfortech and non-comfortech versions Deafening silence from Benelli on these boards as to when we could ever expect to see any of these.....

Yes that was me. All the dealer catalogue showed was a small picture of the M2 tactical (basically a M2 receiver with a pistol grip stock), and the dealer could not provide me with any further info. I was hoping perhaps Nelligirl could shed some light on when these will be shipping to dealers....

Anyone got any pics/info/rumors/anything? [ 01-22-2005, 01:45 AM: Message edited by: Super 90 ]

I saw a 2005 Benelli catalog at the dealer, and there was no M1 tactical, only the M2 tactical. The M3 tactical was still in there though. I forgot to check the prices - What is the MSRP for the M2 Tactical? Is it a big increase over the MSRP for the M1 Tactical? When will the M2s start to ship to dealers? Is the M1 tactical being discontinued for 2005? When will the M2 tactical be available, and will it be priced the same as the M1? [ 01-18-2005, 01:27 PM: Message edited by: Super 90 ]
