Blue Collar Comedy Tour would probably kill you outright.

Ahem umm whats the Blue Collar Comedy Tour?

If you think this makes me sound like I have been living in a cave for the past 25 years you'd be right.

  2. Is there evan anything better about the extended chokes? All I have see nis the improved tightness in a full but extended C,IC.M,IM all seem to not matter the only difference appears to be the fact that they are not "flush" or "mobile" if you will.

  3. Why is it that it's always the cylinder bore out of stock?

And it seems that when You buy a gun one of the basic chokes that comes with it would be the actual standard bore that would be there if it wasn't a multi-choke. Does anyone disagree because I may be missing something here and if I am go ahead and tell me.

  4. Well technically it doesn't make adifference as far as patterens it's a different story for accuracy. It is easier to aim a 28 in barrel because of the longer distance between the two points thus aiming error is easier to notice.

It would have been wiser to get the 28 in barrel as you may see that some of the members of the board will throw rocks at you for making the mistake.

I wouldn't recomend going off-brand with chokes I would go with the brand you have. You would have to ask someone else about the extended chokes becasue I just don't care about things like that becasue I only use them for the field. they are supposed to be better than the mobile chokes or something.

And for geese I would use a IM** choke and for ducks I would use a M*** you can go fore the factory full choke but It doesn't work out to well for me or any of my family.

also I would use either #2 or #5 shot for the type of hunting you are doing.

  5. The supersport is a great gun for sprting and also a beautiful peice of equipment. I I have the hardwood and the comfor tech stock. the hardwood for sprting and the comfor tech for when I'm am in the feild.

It is a very nice and very reliable semi-auto That I would recomend for a expeirianced shooter. ;)

  6. where can I find a good set of punches for disassembly of firearms

I'm tired or searching for some getto replacement for temoving them.

  7. I thought mine had a particularly wide group because it was a semi-auto

but I will tighten mine and see how it works out.

And if your not satisfied with the CS just send a bad report.

  8. I have never actually hunted pigeon before.

should I practice skeet, trap, or sporting clays for this.

also I would like some input on what shot size you guys have used that works well for pigeon.

  9. Well for crying out loud clean outside in the open

and the foamer takes like 30 minutes of soaking wich does add up to the normal amount of time that you usually spend cleaning it. just wait for the all the foam to convert to liquid so you can see all the way through the bore again

Yes it is an aerosal product. and don't hold down the button two long becaue the bore fills extremely fast and it will start backfiring all over your new pants.

  10. I use tynex brushes. they work really well.

its not as streesful as steel and not a pliable as bronze. so if it bends out shape it won't be so difficult to put it back. It is ok to run a dry brush down the barrel unless it is steel, bronze, or tynex.

(some of you may say well whats left?)

a nylon brus is my cleaner of choice. it is so soft that you don't have to push it all the way through the barrel before you come back.(useful for guns with a very small action that won't let you go all the way through).

I only use nylon for shotguns and thats it they are particularly delicate barrels that scratch easy. I use HCL low level acid on the bore. steel is resistand to the acid so it is safe. AS LONG AS YOU DON'T SOAK IT OVERNIGHT holy crap it was terrible. but I called a chemist for help and he supplies me with some HCL that does'n evan begin to damage steel for 1 hour. The only trouble I have with cleaning shotguns is drying the bore I mean they tell you to do it with the patch but its so loose that it doesn't take anything out.

anyway I sould recomend picking up a nylon brush for cleaning shotguns.

  11. It depend on what you have if you have several guns it is important to have a veriety of oils. However In your case I would limit the best working oil for each gun I use 3 becuase each specializes in removing a specififc fouling. giving me a total of 12 different oils. this is a list of oils that you will need though. You don't necessarily need them it's just what works best with each.

For shotguns, you need powder solvent

for pistols, you need hoppes semi-auto solvent

for rifles. you need hoppes Bench rest copper solvent.

If you have those three oils for specific guns you will find ease in cleaning and also you will have cleaned the bore better. also you shouldn't use just some oil to clean because it is a risk. It must say that it is OK to use in bores because that the standard oil is highly flamable and If you miss a little left behind in the bore it will ignite. you won't notice it but the extreme undistributed heat will cause severe damage to your barrel.

choke tube oil is not required you should be fine with rem oil but I would recomend it for competetion because I have seen other people have problems with there choke oil because it was just regular lube and they were firing several shots at a time.

yes cleaning your gun every time you use it will make a difference. if you let it sit the build up in the barrel is just getting more and more permenent.

  12. after you clean it with the light coat does any of the gun powder that leaks in between the chokes dry up before you can wipe it off after shooting.

If you lost me please tell me because that was pourly worded.

  13. Ok there was a post all about shell catchers... And I can't find it. And if you wait long enough I know this guy that will eventually find out about this post, because werever I post he looks. anyway he can help you find things. And he still helps me evan though I'm sure nothing would please him more than to throw a shoe at me.

and when In doubt use a good old fashoned rubber band :D

    Here tucker, tucker, tucker

  14. yes the camo finish is is kind of fragile and will come off with wear or with overuse of oil!!!

be especially careful when oiling your camo guns sometimes it will ruin the finish and It will cost you between 50-130$ I learned this lesson when I didn't want to spend extra monwy on an oil with a wether guard and brought some with me on a trip and put too much on because I was running against the clock.
