  1. M1014: You have a nice collection. Is that an M1 Super 90 the second one down from the top? If so, what kind of heat shield does it have? Which is your favorite of the bunch?
  2. Does anyone have any advice on how to shorten the stock butt pad?
  3. I bought an M1 Super 90 about a year ago, and I would like to shorten its LOP by about 1/2". Does anyone make replacement butt pads that are a bit thinner than the stock butt pads? Thank you.
  4. Stick with factory extension. I have a couple Remington 870s that I put factory extensions on, and I have never had a problem. I tried switching to a Choate extension once, and within a week of the switch, and loading up the mag for about a day, I tried cycling the rounds through the gun. The spring stayed completely compressed and/or got bound up within the tube, and NONE of the rounds fed. I immediately went back to the factory setup. My first 870 is now about 15 years old, and has had the mag extension on it almost from the get-go. Zero problems. Stick with factory.
  5. I know there are some differences cosmetically, but are they different internally?
  6. M1014, what kind of heat shield did you install on your Benelli? It looks great.
  7. I just bought an M1Super90 with ghost ring sights. It is my first Benelli. I own a few pumps (Rem. 870s and Ithaca 37), but I wanted to go with the semi-auto platform for obvious reasons. What can I expect out of this shotgun? I plan to shoot full loads out of it. What loads do you guys prefer? I alsways clean my firearms after every shoot, but I was curious, how long can this thing go uncleaned and be reliable? How will this thing hold up in dusty environs? (I might take it out to the desert a lot). What kind of lube do you guys use? Lastly, why don't I see this shotgun on the Benelli website (or am I just missing something)? Thanks for any input you can offer. I am really looking forward to shooting this baby. P.S. I don't plan to over-accessorize it; I will likely keep it totally stock.
