  1. About $180ish from Mann & Sons (at least that is what it cost them last year), and $357.14 from Brownell's.
  2. Does anybody know a source for a replacement reciever cover (not the receiver itself, but the cover) for a 12 ga. Cordoba? I tried Brownells and did not see it.
  3. You are right... the only time you wold really want to use one is in a game like trap, where otherwise you are always hitting the guy next to you. Some trap fields even require them.
  4. Nobody makes them for any model of the Cordoba. Even the one out there that is supposed to fit all models of shotgun (uses double-stick tape to attach) does not work because the side of the reciever is not even. The only thing to do is use a rubberband.
  5. I would not go below 26" if you plan on using it for dove or any other wing shooting. The short barrel is mostly just for ease in the field. Usually, though, the rule of thumb is the longest barrel you can comfortably move about with. I hunt turkey from a blind, so I use a 28".

I would not get the nova for trap; you really need something with a higher comb. The super nova at least gives you that option. Two disadvantages, though, for both would be only 28" barrel (as opposed to 30" for the cordoba and ss) and field rib (as opposed to tappered target rib).
  7. Cordoba is all matte black; the SS has a gloss barrel, silver reciever, and carbon finish stock. Same gun, though. One is flashy for the range, the other is low-profile for the field.

Either the 30" Cordoba or SuperSport (same gun) with the raised comb insert.
  9. My '05 Cordoba is not.
  10. I have my Nova for sale on gunbroker. It has a bunch of add-ons made to it (limbsaver, recoil reducer, truglo sights, trulock choke). http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=77347402
  11. I believe the Benelli web page says it is a 10mm rib. I was looking for a magnetic rear sight of some sort, but none of them come big enough. This might do the trick, though.
  12. This is why I was hoping for a saddle mount (like B-Square makes). Still not luck yet finding one, though.
  13. Thanks for the help!
  14. I have a 12 ga. Cordoba and would like to use it for a turkey hunting trip. I can use a rifle in the Fall, so I will only be using it one day a year in the Spring. I don't see the need for a totally new gun for one day a year, and since I hunt out of a blind, I'm not too worried about the 28" barrel. Does anybody know of a scope mount (sort of like B-Square) that would fit? Anything for the SuperSport or Raffaello should work too.
