  1. I have a M2 20 ga and need a slim pad for it. Using mostly for turkey and dont need the extra cushion of the thick factory pad.

who has the best prices? I went to Gander Mountain and I will not pay $100 for a stupid pad. my goodness they got them marked up.

  2. They will fix it, even if it takes 3 or 4 times. They stood behind a bad SBE barrel I had bought NIB for a turkey hunting barrel and with a IndianCreek tube it shot 8-12 inches high to the right. Threads in barrel were off. Every tube I tried it did the same thing. Cost so much, I didnt want to bend the barrel to shoot correctly. Benelli replaced it!

  3. best slug I found to shoot decently was the 2 3/4" lightfields. I shot more expensive 3" sabots with no improvements.

I did J-B non imbedding bore cleaner to it and it did help the accuracy. went from a 5" 3 shot group to a 2" 3 shot group. I think that it would help if it had a trigger job done to it. My savage 220 rocks on accuracy. I want to sell my slug barrel and buy a 24 or 26" Crio for my M2 20

  4. My gun is bone stock. With the wrights number three(.650), and hevi 13 2.25oz 7's im getting in the 270's, and with the Indian creek BDS(.665) and the same load, I'm getting in the 300-310s. The IC shoots the same load, but in 6's in the 230's. I had a Jelly Head and sold it, that shot in between those two, number wise.

what yardage? 40? 10" or 20" circle pattern?

  5. I wanted to let you Benelli shooters to keep a eye out for 2 Benelli SBE's particular

this is my dedicated turkey gun and the only one like in existence.IMG-20110416-00142.jpg

if you notice anything strange, it is. No vent rib Crio barrel, SBEII forearm, steady grip and with Vista camouflage.

Also a SBEII in Hardwoods 26"

the SBE serial # is U169104

the SBEII serial # is U318592

  6. when you pattern you rgun, use a huge piece of paper and just shoot towards the middle.

draw a 10" circle over the densest part of the core and then count how many pellets.

you want no less than 150 pellets in the 10 at 40. At least I don't. I travel out of state and hunt and dont get that perfect setup while hunting turkey every time and if I misjudge yardage I want it to drop.

IndianCreek .665 for Hevi 6's and go tighter if you use magblends or 7's

  7. Yeah, that pad on the S/G is a little rough on the shoulder. It feels like an axe blade when shooting magnum loads.

Chad, thats why i close my eyes when i squeeze the trigger. lol

I love mine, i cut it down to fit me better and used a slip on limbsaver for a pad.

  8. I think he may be refering to my forum name on NWTF, Skiebuster. Not sure, but i dont think that i had slammed him when i replied to his post. Iagree with him and thank him for putting the word out on Deans M1 20 that shoots so far off it would need to be bent like a "boomerang" to hit POA.

  9. And I have to say that the man seems to have a valid point.

On the other hand, I have never known Benelli CS to not be able to resolve an issue.

True, sometimes they take more than one try.

The felow should either persist with Benelli or take some of the others up on their generous offers to help fix it.

Cutting it into 2" pieces will not make his bitterness go away, and it will leave him light in the wallet.

I know Dean, if i had his money, i wouldve cut my SBE into 2" pieces, that took 4 trips to get fixed[and did] by the cs. What is sickning is that they are using the same language they used on me with others. Such as, flinching, pulling the shot, yada yada yada. You would think the the poor people who are in cs would march over there and slap some non english speaking person who is making the funky chokes and get r fixed.

If i didnt believe that my SBE/SBEII wasnt the baddest waterfowl guns on the market i wouldnt have bought the sbeII and cut my sbe barrel up in 2" sections.

  10. I know the bigger issue is that what does BH do with a bad barrel? I know it must be hard to toss a $500 barrel. But the other option is to ignore it and start getting the bad press like these posts.

Just my $.02 since no one asked....

think they could sell them on EBAY. Hey, its better than scrap and they only have $50 invested inthe barrels. They could take the ones that dont hit well for turkey hunters and mark them and sell em cheap on Ebay to recover money invested inthe steel and manufacturing. Its a win win, turkey hunters love them, and helping us po folks get extra barrels fer or guns.

  11. Make sure you get him on long retrieves too. On water they will do wha they have trained to do and stay short. Sometimes a cripple could go 100 yards or more.

And he is a good looking dawg !

  12. what layout boat ?

Check ou the mightylayouboys.com website and look at the extreme puddler edition. Now it is a little different than the picts (better) but its awsome for lake hunting and for puddlers. Deadly for geese too.
