I stand corrected. I didn't realize the bores were not the same. Pure Gold has some exchanging to do then LOL
-
Yes, I had mine ported and it does make a difference for the better. It helps keep the Muzzle down for a second or third shot and it does not effect the cycling of the gun at all.
-
Yes they are the same.
-
You will probably pay halve of what the gun cost for the rifled barrel.

Not trying to be righteous, but its sights like that fuel the anti hunting and gun crowd.Originally posted by tucker301:Oh, so you're a red mist man, are you?
I'll bet you'd like this site.

Mudhen I agree with you 100%. I would never grind a choke on any gun weather it cost $15.00 or $1500.00 to make it shoot straight. I just thought it was interesting that some people would go to that extreme to make a gun shoot straight.
HH according to the article on page 24 of Sporting Clays mag that is exactly what the guy did, and he got the POI to change.
-
I know this was just recently hashed out, but in this month’s issue of Sporting Clays magazine there is an interesting article on changing the POI by removing material from one side of the choke
Page 24 I believe.

Isn't it all such ******** the way they make and word laws? Replace this for that and that for this and you’re legal or illegal. What the **** does it matter if I have shotgun with parts made here or Timbuktu.
Oh I forgot a person with the intent to do harm with a gun might ask himself.
"Wait just a second I can't use this shotgun to go down to the Seven Eleven and blow the cashiers head off it has parts made mostly in the US. Shucks I better go find one made of mostly Timbuktu parts."
What a ****ed up world this is.

In your first post you said you did patteren the gun.
"I am having some issues w/ my SBE and patterning aftermarket choke tubes.
I have A Patternmaster ext. and it has been patterning very low. The top of the pattern is my point of aim, so I thought I would try others, and my Briley LM ext/poted is also low."
And on on your last post
"I did not pattern the gun, I just shot A round of S.C.'s."
Am I not understanding this right?

Change the drop shim on the stock.
-
Just a little FYI even if you do add heat and melt that plastic ring (like I did) It won't affect the operation of the gun. Well at least with mine it didn't

I shoot light target loads in my SBE 2 and almost never have a problem.

For those of you who were wondering how the picatinny rail got its name.
The people who designed the Picatinny Rail.
Tucker no need to respond I am sure you already knew this info. This is for people who don't already know everything.

I live in West Ashley. Have you ever been to Backwoods just outside of Georgetown?

Finally someone else from SC!

I did have the Cordoba (sold it) my brother had the M2. We both prefer the SBE 1 or 2. I just had my SBE 2 ported for $80.00 it does help keep the barrel down for a second or third shot. The short answer in my opnion the best thing about the Cordoba is the $80.00 worth of porting. You do the math.

The Beretta Optima Plus chokes will also work.

Isn’t past your bedtime kid?

It seems like they would I am kind of surprised they have not yet. I like a pistol grip on a rifle I think it makes pulling the trigger smoother.Originally posted by SBE2:Seeing BLACK JACK's 7400 I was woundering if Benelli has or is going to make a Steady Grip for the R1 or ifg there is another pistol grip stock that will fit the R1. If not I amy get a slug gun for thick brush.

SBE2 Check out this linkOriginally posted by SBE2:Is that a stock a stock made just for the 7400 or is it a 870 or 1100 stock that you just put on? I do use a bow during bow season, but a bow is a little to civilized for me.
