Well good to hear. I never could get my R1 to group (2 1/2") at it's very best. Most of the time 4 1/2". So are you retired up there or did you live there all your life? I'm thinking of places to live in retirement. Ca. is not where I want to retire! Thanks Terry

I can't believe what I'm seeing. My R1 did the same thing with not reloading the first time out after 20 rounds and has not worked right after. How long did it take the piston to look like this?

Mike, I have one in 308 and had the same problem as you and my gun has the new barrel but. I'll sell you mine cheap! One time it shoots great then clean it and it's off the paper. Then it won't cycle! So let me know. I just need to send it back I guess. Bossman

Need some help, haven't been duck hunting in years. So what works for passshooting on ducks? Using a 12ga. O/U with 3 1/2" chambers.

Could sommone tell me the best way to clean my R1 so I can shoot more than 10 rounds without having it fail to feed. Thanks

Rosco, same here, shot 20 rounds and it stopped working. Cleaned and lubed and it went 9 rounds and now wouldn't feed. Doesn't shot tight either (4").
