  1. This gun was recently revieved in GUN TEST magazine. They syated that an allen wrench could be used to tighten the forearm which would make it easier or harder to cycle the forearm. This would probably get rid of the rattle also. They gave the gun a A rating on all factors.
  2. There is a hole located on the forearm half way down on the top towards the barrel. An allen wrench fits in there. It is to adjust the tightness of the forearm. Some like them loose. Some like them tighter. Tightening it up may help you. I have a 20ga NOVA and love it. Built like a brick S--t house.
  3. The dipped finishes fade etc. because they are not sealed in. Bell and Carlson does the dipped finishes and you can ask for them to actually seal in the finish with a process they sall maxguard. They charge 180.00 for the whole gun plus whatever the cost is for the maxguard coating. I recently bought a 20ga nova in black just for that reason. I was wondering if an old dipped finish can be removed????

    Dipping problem?

The problem is that the dipped finishes are not sealed. One would be better off ordering the gun not dipped and then send it off to Bell & Carlson to have them camo the gun. Then have them shoot their new MAXGUARD finish onto the camo finish which seals in the camo finish. Total cost is $180.00.
  5. Go to http://www.bellandcarlson.com. They offer the real camo finishes and now they can add a clear coating over the camo called max cote. Total cost to coat the whole gun is 180.00.
  6. Doesn't matter. I just bought a NOVA in 20ga with 24" barrel.
  7. The escort semi-auto shotgun reveived Guns And Ammo's gun of the year award a while back. For 399.00 you get hard chromed bores. Black chromed outside metal. A 3/8" milled rib on the receiver to mount sighting equipment on etc. Anyone got any experience with this shotgun?
