  1. Check this out. http://shootersconnection.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=123&products_id=459 Is this an entire new mag tube or an 8 round extension? What might this look like on an M4; or How easy to cut this down to make a 2 round ext for an M4. Just thinking out loud here.
  2. Yes, that's an EoTech on it. I actually love the ghost ring sights it comes with, but at 50 years old my eyes won't accomodate like they used to. I can have the post in focus or the ring but not both, and if the target's in focus neither the post or ring are. The EoTech is a great solution but an expensive one. Oh well, when you're half a century old it's time to splurge a bit. out
  3. OK, 1st attempt at pic posting:
  4. oops. this is the choke tub source http://www.choketube.com/benelli.html out
  5. Thank's for the reassurance. I've had time now to do some further snooping on the net and see I got a fair price- on the lower end of the spread. However, most have none in stock. I just lucked out it was on the rack. The more I shoulder it the more I like it. Anybody ever check out the mag extensions at Daves Metal Works. http://shootersconnection.com/store/index.php?cPath=123 How about this source for choke tubes? I'm brand new to all this and having a blast. out
  6. I'm completely new to shotgunning but have been interested in getting a tactical shotgun for some time. So, I've done alot of reading and net surfing trying to educate myself. Usually when I purchase a gun I know completely what I'm buying, but this time I yielded to an impulse buy. I was at a gun shop several hours drive from home and saw a M4 11707 for $1430.00. Haven't been able to find one on the shelf elsewhere, It would be a long time before I would get back to that store, and it felt good in my hands. Also bought an EoTech sight for it. So, did I pay alot for a dog or was this a reasonable buy. Thx
  7. The only shotguning I've done is O/U, so I'm not familiar with the reliability of semiauto mechanisms. I'm interested in getting a semi-auto tactical and have been compairing the M4 and M2. Benelli makes a pretty good pitch for the Inertia Driven system being superior to a Gas/Piston system. The only reason they resorted to a piston for the M4 is to allow it to function when loaded with lots of heavy accessories. If the Inertia system is so superior why all the demand for the piston M4. Obviously the M4 already has the integral rail, option for collapsable stock, and the Cool factor. Is one system better than the other or is this just marketing Bull. Seems to me that for a home defense/tacticle gun the M2 Tacticle would be the preferred choice if there really is any advantage to Inertia Driven. The ability to add a rail would be a must. The most I would mount on it is an Eotech (surely that wouldn't pork the inertia system). Any helpful comments or insights would be appreciated. Thx
