  1. For the pop in pads you will just start the screws into the plastic piece through the recoil pad. This will have the plate loose on the recoil pad but in a position to be pushed into the stock. That is the plastic piece will be pushed into the stock. It will pop in and once in you can tighten up the screws to hold it in place. If you have a standard stock you will just unscrew the old pad and screw on the new one. If you need anything further please call. This sometimes doesn't sound right when typed out. 2. I installed 10400 limbsaver in my new SBE II with no problem. Just take off the benelli pad. The bracket will go between two raised ledges at the end of the stock. You can then insert the screws in the pad, line up the screws with the bracket. You may need a small flashlight to line up the holes by angling the pad to one side. Once the holes are lined up with the screws push the pad down in the stock and tighened the screws. Make sure you have a screwdriver that fits the screws exactly so you don't ream out the screw heads. Fits fine with no problem. I have three limbsavers on a .243, Remington SF 1100, and now my SBE II. Great pads. I like the flat pads better than the angled benelli pad, just fits better. I figure if the bracket breaks it would be no problem to make another bracket with a jig saw from a piece of aluminum or thick plastic. Would like to hear more on the 10402 though if the guy will respond.
  3. What is the difference between the 10402 and the 10400? What makes the 10402 so much better? Please explain the advantage of the 10402.
  4. screw the screws into the bracket first, then place the bracket in the stock, then use the screws to pull the bracket to the inside of the stock. Finally, carefully unscrew the screws from the bracket and set the pad on the gun and CAREFULLY screw in the pad. Hope this helps. It only took me 3 mins after I did it this way. novaking
  5. I just got a 10400 but there are no instructions on how to install it. Has anyone done this? What is best way? Thanks for any help....................
  6. I have had this happen with SBE II. It is usually caused by not pressing in the cartiridge down level before loading from my experience. When it does happen I just take my finger and press down on the leaver no problem.
  7. Limbsaver Speed Mount pad 10400 coming in tomorrow for my new SBE II. Any issues about installing that I need to know about??????????? SBE II Camo 26" Syn.

    SBE2 Pad?

I see from a previous post that the stocks have been extended and the shorter pad put on the newer models. Newer models now have less recoil protection it seems due to the shorter pad.

    SBE2 Pad?

A friend of mine bought his SBE2 a couple of years ago. I just bought mine and we were comparing the two. The only difference we can tell is mine has the HD camo and his is not HD, but his pad is thicker than mine. Did they change the stocks or pads? Both were bought new in the box.
  10. Never mind,,,,,,,,,,,,took it apart changed shim to Z. Shooting perfect. No problem. Took about 5 minutes. Very easy.
  11. I got a new SBE II and want to change the point of impact from 50/50 to 80/20 so it will shoot higher. Can someone give me better instructions than in the manual to put the POI in that range and how to change the shims, what shims, etc? Appreciate any help.

Also I found a cleaning link that was suppose to have pictures, but it must have moved does anyone know the current link for the cleaning site? Thanks for any help looking forwarded to hunting with my new SBE II Camo.
