Where can I find a weaver 93 scope base for my SBE slug barrel?????? Any info. greatly appreciated.

Mine apparently wasnt shipped or was missing from the packaging when shipped from cabelas. The swivel plate obviously goes on ahead of the nut and lock washer right. Thanks for the info Tucker,I guess I'll need to contact Cabelas

I have a question. What are the the slots on either side of the steadygrip stock for???? Are they for a sling to go thru, and how do you install it.??? Have another quest. when I installed the steadygrip stock, put it on,and tightened up the nut, the nut is blocking the opening between the slots. Do I need to put a spacer of some kind in there???? Any information would be greatly appreciated and much help...

I agree totally and absolutely with Idaho Ducker. I had the same problem with the winchester ammo.from walmart in my sbe( bought gun brand new and first time I shot it.) I switched to federals and remington and haven't had any trouble since.

I have an SBE with the advantage timber finish, I would like to know if the Rem oil spray I've been using to oil, and preserve the exterior , could harm or ruin the camo finish, also what is recomended,or may be better to use . Thanks for any info or tips.

I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT THE DIFFERENT TYPES AND BRANDS OF SABOT SLUGS, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW , IS THERE 1 BRAND/ TYPE THAT WOULD BE BEST TO USE IN MY SBE WITH THE RIFLED BARREL?? IS THERE ANY TYPE/ BRAND THAT I SHOULDN'T USE OR THAT WILL DAMAGE THE RIFLED BARREL?? I 'VE HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT WINCHESTER SUPREME PARTITION GOLD,& THE SUPREME PLATINUM TIPS. I HAVE ALSO HEARD ABOUT THE REMINGTON PREMIER CORE-LOKT ULTA, AND REMS. PREMIER COPPER SOLID. NEED INFO FROM THE MORE EXPERIENCED VETERANS. HAVE HEARD TAILS OF DAMAGED BARRELS,AND DON'T WANT IT TO HAPPEN TO ME THROUGH INEXPERIANCE. YES THE WINCHESTER AMMO WAS FROM WALMART IN THE BULK PACK, I ALSO BOUGHT THE FEDERAL SHELLS AT WALMART IN THE BULK PACK, AND THEY CYCLED FINE. DIDNT HAVE 1 PROBLEM, WITH THE FEDERAL SHELLS. WITH THE WIMCHESTER SHELLS I HAD TO PULL THE BOLT BACK TO FINISH LOADING THE NEXT ROUND. I HAVE NO IDEA, WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE WINCHESTER AMMO, BUT PROBABLY WON'T PUT IN MY SBE ANYMORE,I'LL SAVE IT FOR MY OLD 870 EXPRESS.

well theres some hometown involved,since the quarterback is from findlay,OH. and i live just 10 min. south of findlay. they also have a rookie receiver who played his college ball in tiffin ,OH. thanks for all the info about gun cleaning.

I HAVE AN SBE , HAVE SHOT IT LESS THAN 200 TIMES, TO CLEAN IT W/O TEARING THE WHOLE GUN APART, I SPRAYED BORE CLEANER IN THE BARREL, PULLED THE BORE SNAKE THRU ACOUPLE TIMES , SPRAYED REM OIL AROUND THE BOLT& IN THE CHAMBER , WIPED IT OUT WITH A CLOTH, OILED THE OUTSIDE OF GUN,& PUT IT BACK IN THE GUN CABINENT. IS THIS GOOD ENOUGH TO KEEP MY SBE IN GOOD SHOOTING CONDITION, UNTIL I GET IT GOOD & DIRTY??????

THIS PAST WKND. MY BROTHER AND I& OUR WIVES WENT OUT & SHOT SOME CLAY PIDGEONS. THIS WAS THE FIRST CHANCE TO SHOOT MY SBE. I WAS SHOOTING WINCHESTER AMMO,NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH THIS AMMO BEFORE, BUT MY SBE WOULDN'T CYCLE I HAD TO PUSH THE BOLT CLOSED AFTER EVERY SHOT, THEN I SWITCHED TO REM. NITRO,& FEDERAL AMMO,THE GUN CYCLED EVERY TIME WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. IS IT JUST WINCHESTER AMMO???

WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE XCOIL PADS. R THEY REALLY TOP OF THE LINE FOR REDUCING RECOIL? WILL ADDING THE XCOIL PAD TO MY SBE POSSIBLY CAUSE CYCLING PROBLEMS?ANY INFO,OR TESTIMONIALS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
