  1. Am I asking to much or what? I figured that was fair, seeing that the stocks alone sell for 500+

This would make a great SBS project seeing that the shotgun originally was an entry gun that was removed from the NFA Registry. I even still have the box proving it was an NFA weapon.

    Thank you.

  2. The M1-S90 is an Inertia Driven recoil system. When you attatch accessories on the M1, you have the risk of cycling problems. That is why the M4 was designed with the gas system. You can put anything you want on the M4 and it functions everytime. If it were me, I would sell the M1 and buy the M4.

    Hope that helps a little.

  3. Surefire sent me a demo and I have it on my entry M4 and it is a great rail system. Fits tight, no play in the stock and it looks very good on the shorty shotgun. I haven't fired the gun yet with the surefire rail on it, but I am sure it will be just fine. Very nice product.

  4. Well I keep rounds in the chamber on my handguns, glock included. I don't chamber the shotgun, until I know I am going to approach a threat, or I am out at the range and shooting. The floater round is great because a quick pull of the charging handle and you are ready to rock.

  5. The 14" barrel and locking nut are flush with each other. The barrel locking collar is placed different on the 14" barrel than the one on the 18.5" barrel, so it would not work. You need the threads to lock it down on the 14" barrel and if you put on the 2 shot ext everything would be way off.

  6. Your Benelli will hold 5 shells as long as they are 2 3/4". 4 if they are 3". You can also put a floater round in, so you can have 5+1 with the chamber empty. Just load the mag tube to 5 and then pull the bolt back where you can take a loose round and place it under the bolt and then let the bolt go home. Works very well.

  7. GOOD LUCK on finding a 14" entry barrel by itself. I tried for the last 2 years and I had no luck. What I did, was completed a form 1 on the M4 that I already owned. I then found a dealer that had a full factory entry gun for sale ($1400.00). I bought the gun and had him send me the barrel, which I put on my registered receiver. The other benelli was taken off of the NFA registery, then the receiver and collapsing stock was sent to me. That is one way of doing it.

  8. Like I have said in the past. From day #1, my Benelli M4 has cycled everything from bird shot to 3" shells and not one FTF.

Best shotgun I have ever owned. Don't bash Benelli's, just let them fix it.

  9. Greetings,

I am getting my Benelli M4 refinished with Gun Kote. Does anyone know if this is a good finish for a shotgun and will this effect the value of my gun?

    Thanks

  10. I bought the M-3 for the pump/semi-auto function. I also bought the M-3 because I could get a full-size (26" barrel) to go with the 18.5" tactical barrel.

The M-3 functions perfectly and is quite a looker whenever you go to a range.

You shoud see the looks when I go to the range with my 14" Benelli M4 with collapsing stock. I have to whipe the drool off of it.

  11. I have both and the M3 is more versital in that you can convert from semi to pump. To me, that is the real attraction to the M3. The M4 is just plain bad. It looks bad and shoots awsome. I guess if it came down to choosing between the two, I would take the M4. After all, the USMC chose the M4 and they don't slack off on their equipment. Only the best.

Back when I was a Marine, we had some pretty crappy stuff. All of our big toys, except for the F-18 were hand me downs from the US Army, like the M60 tank, cobra choppers and a few other things. The USMC has come a long ways, when it comes to equipment, uniforms, etc.
