If anyone needs a soft tactical case for their 14" barreled Benelli's, I have 2 custom made ones available for sale. They fit the shorty perfect, as long as it has the 14" barrel and collapsing stock. They are black in color and made by Tactical Tailor. PM me if interested. Thanks.

If you are looking for stocks, barrels, etc, give Joe at Acme Sports a call. 812 522-4008.
He is a Benelli dealer and a great guy to deal with. He has a Benelli M4 straight stock currently available if anyone is looking for one.

Here you go. This shows that the Benelli M4 is one awsome weapon that seems to handle abuse very well.
-
Good to hear. Thanks

With all that hard shooting, was there any damage to the bolt from the gas pistons? Also how does your ejection port look? Mine gets pretty beat up from the brass hitting it on ejection. Thanks
-
Take the barrel off the receiver and look down the chamber end. Best to have some white background. You will see the little holes inside the barrel where the gas system is located.
-
I believe that was the issue with the older 4 port barrels. The barrel was designed for low recoil rounds and I have heard of the bolts actually breaking from the gas pistons slamming into the bolt. I have the newer 2 port barrel and no problems at all. I would trust my lfe on this weapon.

I second that. It just amazes me how many cowards bad mouth this war (Which needed to be done by the way) and they have never served in the military. I was in the Marines for 4 years and now have been a cop for 19 years defending this awsome country we live in. For all the fallen from this great country, may you rest in peace brothers and sisters and we will never forget.

Very true. If it's his gun, he can swap anything he wants on it. Someone will buy it the way it is.

You might call Benelli CS. I have heard of them destroying the old receiver and making a new one with the same serial number. Not sure what the cost would be, but at least you are getting a new one.
-
I guess if you have a few stocks, you love it and hate it if you don't. The reason they are not available anymore, is due to BATFE regulations. They are now only available to law enforcement and the military.

Your tube is the newer style and you can use the collapsing stock to it's full potential. Have fun with it. I have the entry M4 and it is one bad a.. weapon.
-
The box might be a mistake. The receiver is marked M4 LE (Limited Edition), which was the M1014. Take the stock off and see if there are notches milled into the tube, so it can except a collapsing stock. If the tube is not milled, then it is definitely a M1014 or at least the same set up.

I am not sure if this is the right way or not, but my shotguns all have ghost ring sights on them. I take slugs and shoot them at targets from 25 to 50 yards. Once my slugs are on target, I have no worries that my buck shot will do the same and closer ranges.
-
Very nice set up. I have the same set up on my M4 entry gun, except I have the M3X light with the long gun back plate.
-
Your welcome

I have had an M1 entry gun since 1993 and never seen a collapsing stock for it. And I have looked. It would also have to be collapsing, since the spring is in the tube has to be there and it would not work with a folding stock. Just get an M4.
-
I have talked to Ann and she has been very helpful, but then I am LE. I know the M1 short barrels came out by themselves, so I don't see why it wouldn't be the same for the M4.
-
Just be patient. The short 14" barrels will eventually become available. That is what I have heard from Beretta Defense, who owns Benelli.

No Benelli M4's came from the factory with a collapsing stock. If there was a collapsing stock on an M4 that you bought from a gun shop, then they are the ones that put it on, not the factory. The factory only shipped the M4 with a pistol grip solid stock. I think that I am right, someone correct me if I am not. Thanks
-
Yes that would be the one. If you see another one, please let me know. Thanks
-
Ok, the receiver may not be the limited edition, but the stock sure is. That about somes it up.
-
I second that one. I am LE and can get those for 90.00. Paladin, take your services to Ebay and don't come back here.
