  2. I ordered one and I hope it fits. What didn't fit about it? Was there a lot of side to side movement? It was recommended to shoot Winchester XR's #6. It was relatively cheap though. Thanks for your help! GG
  3. Anyone using or know about Roger Burrell's Strut Stopper Xtreme turkey tube? I know it has a .643 e.d. and supposed to shoot well. TKU, GG
  4. 1 3/4 oz or 2 oz. TKU, GG
  5. Thanks Mudhen, I used the 3" Federal Prem. Magnum Turkey load with 2ozs. of copper 5's last season. The only pattern I shot was at the head of the turkey that I carried back to the truck. I first thought it was an accident, but, I guess a turkey on the ground is no accident. Have you tried the latter load? I had the shells left over from my M1 and a Briley .665 rifled choke tube. TKU, Garry
  6. I have an M2 and a Jellyhead .660 choke. Does anyone have this combo and what shells and shot size seem to pattern best, as a general rule? Any recommendations? TKU, GG
  7. Bought a new M2 and a .660 Jellyhead choke. 3" Fed. 2 ounces 5's, 10-12 yds. 1 shot 1 kill. 10" beard, 3/4" - 7/8" spurs, 21 lbs. Am I a lucky boy
  8. Thanks, but, I am looking to buy. TKU, Garry
  9. Keith ( Andersons Custom Shotguns) is out of business and I'm wondering if he has opened somewhere else. He did several barrels and triggers for my Berettas when he was at Ballistic Specialities and at Anderson's. He did excellent work. Anyone know ??? TKU

    M2 trigger ??

Shot my M2 for the first time Saturday (75/100). I really like it and I had no cycle issues. The only problem was the trigger. It has a ton of creep and has about a 6# pull. Any recommendations, as far as a gunsmith that can remove the creep and lessen pull weight to 3 - 3 1/4 lbs. I'm sure Benelli would do something, but down time is a consideration. When I shot trap Timney did all my trigger work. He has since become very ill and is no longer in business. Thanks for any help.
  11. Tucker301, I already apologized to the others in this forum in my previous post. However, if I do not owe you an apology, I retract it. I assure you that I do not favor you any more than another person on this forum. I was simply asking your opinion. Have you ever wondered why you've received a" recent string of PM's from others". There within, the answer may lie. Had I not felt the need to have lunch, I would have already posted my question. I've never been one to "sugar coat" things. TKU
  12. I deeply apologize if I have mistakingly did something wrong on this forum. This is the only forum that I been repramanded for sending a PM. My initial question was a recommendation for a gunsmith that was able to rework my M2 trigger. It has too much creep and extremely hard to pull. The only reason I sent a PM to Tucker301 was because most everyone says that he has a considerable amount of knowledge about Benelli's. Again Tucker301, let me apologize and assure you it will not happen again. TKU
  13. sorry, please do not respond to any of mine. TKU
  14. I shot my new M2 today at sporting clays.I broke 75/100 with not one hiccup. (Yeah!!!). It seemed a little low so I decided to raise it one shim. It had a "B" stock spacer at the rear and a "DX" at the front with no "B" on it, just "DX". I noticed in the manual that it says to: Assemble the drop shin "7" onto the recoil tube with the stamped letter facing toward the stock. Reassemble the cast shim "6" with the stamped letter (D.X. or S.X.) facing the stock. The only problem I have is mine only has one that slides over the r.tube and it has the letter "A" on it, with the "A" retaining plate in the rear. Did I miss something????? Mine only had the drop shim and not the cast shim up next to the receiver. TKU
  15. Looking for a 26 or 28" barrel for a M1. TKU
  16. Thanks, let me know what you find.
  17. What choke/load would you recommend for a M2?? I have a Jellyhead ordered, but wondering about the Rhino.
  18. Photopro, which sight did you have? I didn't think Tru Glo used an adhesive. TKU
  19. By the way, talked to Benelli and they replace the standard bead with one for the Nova. 4mm diameter compared to the 1 or 2mm that comes on the gun. They also said that it is possible for the choke tube threads to be crooked. In that event it would have to go back in order to rethread it.
  20. My problem is getting it on straight. Is there a trick to lining it up straight, both sides and top of the rib?
  21. Don't like the easy hit, can never get it straight and had two to fall off in the rain. Besides the red bar being hard to see, a larger one lowers the P.O.I. Every Benelli I own shoots high.
  22. Does Benelli offer a size bigger front sight? It's very difficult to see the small red bar.

    New M2 ????

Purchased a new 12 ga M2 today and wondering if the older M1 barrel will fit? I'm looking for a M1 26" mobile choke tube barrel. Also, how do you remove the soft comb? TKU
