stick, I am looking at the manual for the Stoeger 2000 right now and it doesn't specify if you can use hevi-shot. It only mentions steel and lead. You can use steel in the Modified (3-notches), Imp. Cylinder (4 notches), and Cylinder bore (5 notches). You CAN NOT use steel in any of the other two. It would be wise to post a question to Stoeger on the hevi-shot. camptel
