Benelli shotguns don't seem to be that much lighter than other gas shotguns like the Rem. 1100 or brownings. So you are telling me that the inertia system flat out kicks more and Benellis aren't the softest kicking shotguns? How can Benelli misrepresent their product like that? Thanks for all the imput

The cordoba or supersport will probably work good, but I would stay away from the sbe because it is capable of shooting 3 1/2" loads. This means that it has a longer bolt and cycle. The M2/M1 should also be fine. Just make sure to keep it clean and lubed.

Are you sticking the front of the forearm into the barrel ring first, then bringing the back of the forearm to the barrrel? When I assemble mine I never have a click. If the receiver and barrel go together fine I wouldn't worry about it. I had a question for benelli customer service, but they won't reply or get back to me. As for the serial number I have no idea. If it ends up being a problem I would just confront bass pro shops.

I have the stock shim in it, I think it is the c shim which should be the lowest. I haven't patterened it yet but am planning on doing that this weekend. I just can't figure out why the sbe's have a sloped rail and the m series has a flat rail. Thanks for the help

Does anyone else seem to mis hight with the sbe/sbe2 at horter ranges? I noticed that the sight rail slopes down as it reaches the end of the barrel. Other models also do this except for the m1/m2. Untill 2007 at least, now I think the m2 has a sloped sight rail.
