  1. So sorry for your pain. I can feel the hurt. Please let us know what the out come of this is. Poor customer service is a reason not to buy a product or sell my current.

Which stock was actually on the rifle. Could you have sent back only the stock in this situation? Did Benelli advise you to send the whole rifle back to them? I just want to know a bit more in order NOT to have this happen to any of us in the future.

I have just learned to take pictures of the rifle before shipping and pictures of packaging prior to shipping.

  2. just a thought, but I would load my m4 with alternating rounds. 1buck then 1 slug. And I would use the 3" magnums. The first shot would be buck. I may be wrong, but I think 000 buck has 8 pellets that are slightly bigger than 00 9 pellets.

But then, what would I know. The biggest and meanest things around me are coyotes and wild mustangs. ( AZ )

  3. Buy it...Buy it now. The 2 rnd tube can sell for 250.00 and the coll. stock can sell for up to 800.00 Thats if you were to sell any of the accessories. I paid 1985.00 for mine..it came with the coll. stock and pistol grip stock and the 2 rnd tube ext.

I think 1600.00 for a slightly used one is a great deal. The basic model sells for 1350 -1595.00 new.

If you don't but it, please forward the info to me..lol

    Have a happy holiday

  4. I understand now. So how do you deal with an original M4 that came with the coll. stock? Is it illegal that I purchased it? Am I forced to modify it to comply?

There were some that came into the USA before the BATF stopped them.

I happen to own one of them. Based on..my receiver only says m4 and nothing else.

  5. 1. It renders the firearm more functional for defensive use.

So, changing the hammer, firing pin etc. etc makes the weapon more functional?? I guess the millions Benelli & HK spent on RD isn't as good as someones after market product.

I think you may have missed my point. 922r refers to the manufacturing & importation laws.

A Benelli M4 has been mfg'd and imported into the USofA..so why the need to change the parts to make it 922r compliant? That is the basis of why everyone is wanting to change the 5 of the 15 parts.

  6. I'm not up to speed on this 922R importation law. But I interpret the law as pertaining to manufacturers and home builders of fire arms. If the rifle has been manufactured, made it into the country legally... Then why would you have to change anything???

Please post information on why you need to modify anything...

Like I stated before...It would be easier & cheaper to do a form 1 or to stamp US Made on the parts in question. Who can say they aren't US made?

  7. After a bit of thought........and seeing what these items are selling due to the lack of them and that you will never be able to purchase these items from Benelli.

I am willing to trade the New in Box collapsible stock.

    HK USP .40 Tactical

    HK USP .45 Tactical

Will also consider any HK 91's or 94's and their parts or accessories.

    Cash offers considered as well...

  8. Nothing to change..take off the limiter and install the two round extension. It's very simple.

The difficulty will be finding a factory 2 rnd extension. There are some after market ones on Gunbroker.com for around 150.00 The don't match exactly in color but should work fine.

I've been offered 300.00 for mine and don't know if I should sell it.

  9. On most forums, this would be considered " crapping " in someones add and is not tollerated. Why not try to sell something for maximum price? If thats what the market calls for. If anyone here is fond of Hk rifles, you can see a lot of people paying 2500-4000.00 dollars for a rifle that cost under a 1k when originally sold. I am an Hk fool and have spent 6k on two rifles last month...It cost a lot..but I am happy with my purchases. I also paid 2000.00 + for my M4 with both stocks and the 2 rnd extension..Yes, I paid more than most, but I'm not looking for a 782.00 skel stock now...which I would pay for if i really felt the desire for one. I personally like the look and feel of the PG stock and just wanted the skel stock for resale valuve in the future...nothing fancy about my M4....thats all it says...No LE, No Flag or 1014...It has all the features..so I am guessing its an older...early import model and still new in the box. Damm I need to get out and shoot that thing.

  10. Hmmm...at first I thought of letting go the LE model since its an LE model..But then i thought if you have 2 of one and another..why not have the low number and the LE for your collection....I assume that all the rifles accept the collapsible stock...so to me that makes it more valuable than than the others. IMO To me an M4 is an M4..the difference to me is the ability to accept the skel stock. (.02 )
