  1. I just bought a benelli M1014 (for $1100 used:) and took it to the range for the first time the other day. I had some issues with loading when using low brass 2 3/4 field shot. It ran them ok for the most part but probably jammed about 5 times on me. Works flawlessly with more powerful loads but i was just wondering if this is a normal problem to have due to the low power of the load.

You bought an absolute lemon, get rid of it quick- I will sacrifice and give you $500 for it to cushion the blow. :D

  2. Does your gun have a loud safety that scares away game?

How does the stock come off, I took the rubber buttpad off and it still won't budge!

    Why is Obama killing America?

Does this skirt make my ass look fat?

Obama is killing America because your ass DOES look fat in that skirt.

  3. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Fit/handeling is everything in wing shooting, I went through 7 or 8 guns before I found my "sweet spot" scatter gun for winged critters. (A Browning Citori, shhhhh.... don't tell anybody, this is a Benelli forum after all) :)

  4. Is there room to mount it with the clamp/screw side positioned between the tube and barrel; basically upside down from the way you have it pictured?

There is not room to mount it with the flange between the tubes. You can rotate it some to position the light in relation to the barrel.

  5. I agree with Bs. I have a small B&T double pic rail mount clamped on my mag tube. It is top-notch in fit and finish- my only complaint is that I have to break out the hex key and remove it to take off my barrel.

If you like the look of it, I say buy it and be happy. But for less than what you would pay for that piece you could buy the smaller B&T mount, a Surefire weapons light, AND have an extra pic rail open for a laser or whatever.

What all could/would you want to put on a shotgun pic rail?

    - tactical light (obvious)

    - laser (somewhat useful)

    - sling mount (The M4 already has perfectly good mount built in)

    - vertical foregrip handle (other than going for a certain "look", what

do they do for you? And they hurt to shoot!)

    - spare battery holder (batteries could be stored elsewhere)

    What am I leaving out?
