  1. I usually look for a sale at Dicks Sporting Goods or Wally World and pick up a case or two then. Combination of looking at sales ads and just walking through when in the stores to check. By "cheap" besides referring to price are you talking about 71/2 to 8 size low power loads, any brand consideration?
  2. Thanks DumbDuck: To be honest I haven't tried much on the light loads, use an over/under for my bird and skeet fun. But, will keep this out and give it a try. Love the SX for ducking, smooth great feel, low recoil but it is a tad on the heavy side.
  3. Thanks guys, have been taking mine down completely after each season and was starting to think I was missing parts or just missing!
  4. Have been using a Winchester SX2 for three years as my duck gun. Love the feel and the ease of upkeep for a gas operarted gun. Would say for flexibilty though the SB's have the upper hand based on my friends that use them for birds, skeet, ducks. The SX2 doesn't handle the switch from 3 1/2 to the light loads as well. I have a different gun for the bird and skeet. The weight would also be an issue.
