  1. Stoeger P-350 = piece of crap

Benelli Nova/SuperNova = Cadillac of the pump action shotgun.

I had a P-350 before my SuperNova and it was always jamming. If I loaded more than three rounds in the mag, two rounds would leave the mag tube when I pumped the gun, jamming it all. It was also very hard to pump. Now I own a SuperNova and I'm very happy with it. Seriously, get the Benelli, 100$ is nothing for the quality you'll get with the Nova versus the P-350.

  2. Ummh... I think using 2 shims won't help you a lot. Your best option would be to get a custom butt locking plate. You just need a butt locking plate with a higher hole and you should be perfect. Any good machinist could do that.

  3. Here's mine. Shown in everyday "ready for the shooting range" configuration. I often get the SteadyGrip on and mag tube off for hunting uses. I plan on getting another SN or maybe a M2 or M4 for tactical shooting/home defense. I thought of just getting a 18.5" RS barrel but it would end up costing almost the same than a brand new SNT and I just prefer GRS. I plan on getting more and more Benellis over the years.

  4. Federal FTW!!!

I use Federal SpeedShok, UltraShok & BlackCloud. They make very good paterns out of my SN IC/MOD chokes. I also shoot Remington Nitro Steel when I can get good deals on 'em (13$ a box) but I don't like them as much as the Federals. I've got a few jammings with Nitro Steels due to deformed shells.

Oh and for shot size, I use #2/#4 on ducks and BB/BBB/T on geese.

  5. Southern Quebec. Best place to hunt in my opinion:p. We're the first to shoot the birds so they see nothing comming. Sometimes, we can shoot the same flock 2 or 3 times before they understand what's going on. We empty our mags on them, then we hide & reload. They seem to think that if they don't see us, we're not here anymore. Haaa early season birds... I just can't wait for next season!!!

  6. There are 2 basic models available:

Option 1 - The elastic slip on :

In my opinion, it is the best "fabric" carrier available. They are cheap and practical. The only drawback is that they have tendency to slip off to the front of the stock.

The solution would be to find one with anti-slip backing or with a strap passing on the buttpad.

  7. Could be his flash or maybe the cleaner he used, but no mine doesnt look blue. It is grayish black. Good deal though. Have you seen it in person?

No. The guy sells it on a forum and it's the only picture he provided. I'll ask him to post more pictures.
