Travis, I just recently bought a SBE II a few weeks ago. I love it so far. In my opinion it is worth the money. I would suggest getting it over the other ones. That's just my opinion though. Good luck!

Took my gun out to the shooting range today. To break it in I shot a box of 3" Remington Premier High-Velocity Magnum copper plated turkey loads. I didn't really know what to expect and well, it pretty much blew my shoulder off haha. After that I went to the skeet and trap shooting area and shot 2.75" 8's and it was much much better. I love the gun. It is so smooth. The sights are going to take some getting used to but I think I'll be ok.

So I take it that I'm in for a schock in regards to the recoil, especially during the break-in process with 3.5" turkey loads? haha

Yeah I was confused as to why that was on there.. Why is that in the manual then?

Alright thank you, I will be sure to shoot some heavier loads out of it. In regards to the adjusting, I was just flipping through the manual and it had a figure showing how to adjust the "back-sight". I didn't know what that meant so I figured I'd ask.

One of yall said this earlier but what is the "break-in" procedure? Also, is adjusting of the back-sight needed?

Well, I went to Cabela's today and got my SBE II. I ended up getting the Max-4 HD camo 28". It is badass and I can't wait to shoot it. Took me a second to figure out how to put the barrel and everything on though haha.

Alright makes sense. I don't know too much about shotguns so that's why I'm full of questions. Sounds like all of yall love yours though so I will probably go ahead and get one this weekend.

So basically it just kicks like any regular 12 gauge even with the "inertia system and comfortech"?

I thought the new inertia and comfortech system reduced recoil a lot? I heard it didn't kick a lot at all..

Okay well since it looks like I'm going to get it this weekend, what camo would yall suggest getting? I know I want a camo one, but there are 3 options. Does it really matter which one, or is it just personal preference?

Hey guys, i'm new to this site and just wanted to get some of yalls opinions. I want to get a new shotgun and I'm leaning towards the SBEII. The thing is, it is so expensive. Is it really worth the money because I want a shotgun that is tough and reliable. What do yall think?
