Your spring might be in there twisted or might be too long

Just picked up an M1S90 Tactical for $499 used at a local sporting goods. Can anyone recommend an 8 shot extension that doesnt extend past the 18.5" bbl? All the extensions Ive seen with length listed are over the 9 1/4" under the bbl. Also would like to know where to get a factory pistol grip stock for decent price. Thanks!
