  1. there should be a serial number on your receipt fo the gun.
  2. I have Stoeger p350, which for all intent and purpose is the same gun as the nova/supernova and ill be honest with you i didnt think the kick was bad at all compared to other guns i have. My mossberg 535ATS damn near blows a hole in my shoulder every time i fire it with a 3 1/2 inch shell and it is only 1/10 of a pound lighter than the stoeger/nova. What i noticed about the p350 is that the weight seems to be directed towards the front end of the gun so maybe that has something to do with it. But it nice to shoot even with 3 1/2 high velocity shells so no recoil pad needed here other than the stock one. Besides when i have turkeys in sight i never feel anything when i pull the trigger anyhow, except a little bird fever.......
  3. My buddy looked at an m2 but $$ ruled and he bought a Stoeger m2000 , and loves it. Only shoots 3" shells but has the same inertia system as the Benelli and only costs $400.00.....maybe you get what you pay for, maybe you pay for the name. The m2000 has never jammed to date he said and that is a couple thousand shells through. What gets me is how can a gun that is almost identical to the m2 cost over 600.00 less??
  4. i knew a guy named craig once, but nowhere near as smart as you!
  5. Again we would come to the same argument we have in bowhunting .....kinetic energy or speed?? Does it matter so much how many pellets get there if they aren't doing the damage a larger pellet would......or if the smaller pellets are reaching the target x amount of fps faster, therefore penetrating deeper.......i know i know....just put the damn shell in the gun and shoot the turkey...lol....thanks for the replies
  6. Does anyone have a p350/nova and any choke/shell/shot choice that has worked well?? Patterned well consistently? Thanks!
  7. Id like some input on shot size for toms. I always have used #4's but am seeing alot of people using 6's and i used 5's for the first time last year and missed a few birds( hit but didnt get). Can i get some idea's on the how and why from some of you please?.....before i go spend another $125 on patterning. Thanks in advance!
  8. Yes im going to go with the jellyhead. The shot im not sure about. That hevi shot is priced crazy. I have always used remington magnum premier turkey loads #4 and never had any problems....last year switched to #5 shot and missed two birds at 40 yards( hit them but didnt get them). This year when i did pattern the p350 with 4 shells before i realized it was broken the 2 #5's patterned horrible and the 2 #4's, a little better, but not much....now im reading on here guys using #6's.....i read those federal flitecontrol loads seem to work well too.......bottow line is.....if a had $500 extra bucks to test shells it would be a different story...but this is getting costly......the worst part was having to tell my mother im addicted to gobblers...lol

  10. Thanks, i am already kicking myself in the ass for buying this Stoeger. I decided to save 100 bucks and go with the p350, and it was broke right out of the box(slide doesnt lock in the forward position), got lied to by the dealer that it had a lifetime warranty when i bought it only to find out it only has a year warranty???? I guess they have absolutely no confidence in their products to only offer a year warranty. Great! Had to go through **** and back to get the gun exchanged, only to find out on here all of the problems everybody else has been having with these guns. Ive had it for a week and feel like i got robbed already. The couple of times i did shoot it to pattern, the stock xx ext full turkey choke was a bad bad time.....pellets everywhere but the target at 40 yards. With turkey season a few weeks away, im not very happy. Thanks for the info though, im thinking about a Primos Jellyhead choke...heard some good things, we'll see!!
  11. Do the chokes that fit the Benelli Nova fit also fit the Stoeger p350?? Thanks in advance............
  12. Has anyone had any luck with any aftermarket turkey chokes and a Stoeger p350? The xx ext full turkey choke that came with the gun isnt cutting the mustard...any idea's?? Thanks in advance!
