  1. How ya gonna learn if ya don't ask. This forum has all the info one would need, pro or newbie whose members offer great advice. It's helped me alot, so thank you to those that raised topics wich had the answers to most questions. At some point most people give back when they have something constructive and of value to offer. It doesn't always mean they disappear when they get what they want.
  2. If you have a fairly new M4, in theory you will only need a metric hex wrench and a heat torch to remove 6 flat head hex screws on the upper rail. Some vendors will include the wrench and 6 extra screws in the very likely event that you might strip them. (The threads are welded with lock-tite). The recommendation is that you heat the screws with torch, then very simply back the screws out. Yeah right! I stripped three, and now the unit is at a local machinist for damage control. t's a bit tricky, and you have to be careful not to overheat the aluminum. If you have an earlier version M4, (before the barrel design had changed), the unit will slip right over it and into place. You won't know, until you make the purchase unfortunately.
  3. Better than expected ~ Covers everything. Wish I had this before I started converting the stock. No tools needed! Thanks.
  4. Got it that time, the last link worked. Had to use the right click/save as..to drive, then open. Thanks again
  5. Link didn't work, any suggestions?
  6. Your the man! Thank you for the reply.
  7. Not that waiting 6 months was bad enough, the manual is in 3 languages, not one of them is English. Does anyone know where I can purchase an M4 manual in English?
  8. Thanks. I'll call Benelli on Monday and see if they will offer some touch up paint for this common issue. I'll follow up here wth an update. The Duracoat sounds like a good solution.
  9. My M4 Camo just arrived with some obvious paint flaws, small chips on each dissasemble part, bubbling and cracking on the tube, and smudges on the stock. The dealer was nice enough to order me another. Has anyone seen or heard of similar paint issues with this model? Thanks
