Nikolai, I tried to post this earlier from my cell but didnt go thru. The SN rifle sights are not adjustable but you can change the strike of the round by adding shims that came with the SG. Luckily, I have had no issues with accuracy shooting slugs thru my SN TAC at ranges out to 50 yards. Just how far are you expecting to engage a target from? It is almost impossible to shoot a slug 100 yards with pin point accuracy thru a TAC. Regardless of the sights. You have too many things working against you. Mainly the 18.5 inch smooth bore barrel. If you didnt want a "scatter gun" Perhaps you should have purchased a full length barrel SN or atleast one with a rifled slug barrel. The SN TAC is a solid gun and performs its job remarkablely well. Especially, when you realize its a SG and not a rifle.

Decidion, I wish i had a answer for you but i haven't a clue for cheap options. All my expirence with cheap lights is the vibration kills them that is on a AR15. I can't imagine what a 12 gauge would do. That is why surefire are so popular and expensive. If you don't get a response on here try shotgunworld.com they have a tactical forum and gets more visits per day then here. Im positive someone can lead you in the right direction.

For the Supernova pistol grip.....you have to remove the recoil pad an loosen the bolt enough to get the butt stock to slide back about 1 inch or two then you can just rotate it towards the top of the receiver. After the pistol grip is upside down you should not have a problem removing the trigger assembly. I havent unscrewed it all the way but i imagine it would be a pain to rethread he bolt. Unfortunately, this step isnt listed in the manual. I have been told the manual was written before they offered the pistol grip option and never update. As for the M2 tactical, I dont have a M2 but i believe that it is already tapped for the picatinny rail. Should be able to push the plugs out from the inside of the receiver. They only go one direction. I know this is true on the SN's. Then just screw on the pic rail. Im sure that i have errored in my advice i will be promptly corrected. Good luck.

here are the images of the TAC Star mount. like i said earlier it is a cheaper solution but a pain b/c the pins replace the existing pins in the receiver.

TAC star makes a 4 shot saddle for 35 bucks. The dealer threw it in for free when I got my SN tactical. Its pins replace the factory pins that hold the trigger assembly in. It is a less expensive option but an absolute pain when cleaning b/c you to take it off to get the trigger assembly out. I will post pics when I get home.

I would say that depends on where you live and how many different benelli dealors are in your area. Here is S FL there are only a few big benelli dealors. Each have about the same in either configuration. Bass pro by me only has rifle sights for SNs and Novas.

I have a SN tactical with rifle sights and have had no problems with wandering zero. The rear and front sights are attached to the barrel and are not adjustable. Personally I prefer the rifle sights to the ghost ring. I think it is easier for target acquisition b/c of a wider field of view but lesser expirenced shooters will obviously be less accurate for longer range shots. It depends on preference and what you are using the shotgun for. If primarily HD reasons I wouldn't see a need for a long range shotgun shot unless you live in the sticks. For me im only grabbing my shotgun if someone is already coming in my house. If longer I'm reaching for my AR. B/c the rear ghost ring is attached to the reciever you should not have zero issues.

The part about the rifle sights are not true. The all sighting apperatures are mounted on my barrel assembly. When i remove the barrel both front and rear sights come off with it. What you are saying is true if you are talking about the GHOST ring sights. The rear apperature screws into the receiver

I have a SN tactical item number 20150 (pistol grip and rifle sights). Benelli website says all tactical models has a cylinder choke. Either way it is not interchangeable. BTW decidion, i took my SN tactical trap shooting on sunday. I out shot my buddies 2 of the 3 rounds. They were shooting O/Us and a one had a 20 gauge with a 30 inch barrel. Like i said it is not the ideal set up but it works for a beginner like myself. Atleast, until i can persuade my wife that i need to by a trap/skeet gun and leave the SN for HD. I would recommend that rifle sights versus the ghost ring. Unless you are planning to shoot slugs from far distances. Personally I feel the rear apperature just takes to long to acquire a sight picture after you shoulder. Plus for me i am not going to be using a shotgun to engage any HD reasons past 25 yards. If i need long distance i am grabbing my AR15 and ACOG.
