K just got an email. Just used a screwdriver and carefully pryed it out. Then put it in the extension tube. Using the stock spring.

I have two really quick questions. I got a stock benelli m4 extension tube and when I went to install it I noticed it has a part covering the spring that doesn't allow the spring to extend into the extension tube. Do I need a special tool to remove this and does it go back into the extension tube? Also do I need to buy a new spring? Thanks for any help on this.

I was told that if you add too much weight to the gun like lights, red dots, shells on the side it messes with the inertia system. I was thinking about adding the Mesa Tactical Sureshell Shotshell and even noticed in the notes for the product this disclaimer:
Increased weight of gun mounted with product may disrupt the inertia cycling property on the M1 or M2 when used with low-recoil ammunition
What does all this mean? I am just worried about my shotty not being dependable because I put too much on it.

Okay, I keep reading about the Benelli M2 and adding too much stuff to it and a problem with the inertia driven system. I have an M2 coming in the mail later this week and was wondering if someone can explain what this problem is, how much is too much weight to add onto the gun?

I finally got my M2 and am looking to sell my Benellin Nova Pump. It is black with an 18.5 inch barrel and a Benelli Mag Extension Tube. $325.00 shipped to FFL. FFL must accept shipments from individual. USPS MO only. Will do face to face in Tampa Bay Area for $300.00, but you must have driver's license and current concealed weapons permit. It is a beautiful gun. Has a few BARELY VISIBLE white marks on the barrel from being in the closet. Has had about 20 rounds through it. Nice gun. IM Me for pics.

Okay, I finally ordered my Benelli M2 today and want to deck it out without going overboard and making it weigh a ton. What do you all recommend? I am looking for a light, red dot and a way to carry some extra shells. Would love suggestions and pics.

I am looking to buy a Benelli M4 or Benelli M2. Looking for 18.5 inch barrel if M2 with Ghost Ring Sights, Pistol Grip. Been trying to find one for a few weeks, but just keep missing sales in forums.
I prefer a M4, but want to eventually add a collapsible stock. What do I need to be careful to ask to make sure it will take the stock?
