  1. Also consider what it is doing to food supplie overseas. With the U.S. plowing fields to grow Ethanol foreign markets are forced to uproot irreplacable rain forest to make up the difference. Mankind has always had a bad habit of not planning for the future.

With the ever decreasing forest around the world it will eventually affect the ENTIRE world.

There is no perfect solution but there are better ones than food for fuel. Not to mention the subsidies that are given to farmers to grow corn for fuel.

My thought is if they want to grow it let them grow it but let the market dictate what they get paid, not the government.

  2. Ouch...sorry about the thumb. I feel like a kid at chritsmas. It will be a couple of weeks before I can pick mine up. Its paid for so they let me bring the manual home.

    Anyway, thanks for the information

  3. Is the bolt on the M4 supposed to lock back on the last shot or if cycled back by hand?

I just got my M4 and when I cycle the bolt by hand it seems to hang up a little. If I cycle it back and just "ease" it forward it will stay back as if it is supposed to do that.

    Any thoughts?

  4. Been trying to contact Daves Metal Works for sometime now and have not had any luck. Are they still in business? If so does anyone know when the one piece mag tube will be ready to ship?

Does anyone have a current email addy that I dont know about?

    What about telephone number?

    Any help appreciated.

  5. My thoughts are they are making it versatile so it could be used for a field gun. Its better that you have the availability to use different chokes if you wanted to. Why do you care? If you wanna use cylinder, use cylinder.

    Hmmm. call it OCD.

I know that there is an "extra measure" of maintanance needed when it comes to chokes. They are easy to maintain but if they are not needed then it is something I can do without.

I am sure Ill get used to the M4 utilizing chokes and after I find the right One to use I am sure I wont even know it is there.

  6. Thanks for the link to the choke info.

Why would Benelli use chokes in a shotgun that is designed for tactical/home defense use? Given its design/intended use I dont see a need for having a barrel that would accept chokes. I can clearly see a need for chokes when it comes to a field gun. Any thoughts?

  7. I have an M4 on the way and am wondering why Benelli decided to thread the barrel to accept chokes. Does the shotgun come with different chokes?

Also, what would the best choke be for shooting full power 00 Buck and slugs.

    Thanks for the help!
