  1. I can tell you this, I've never shot the M2 but I have a LH SBE II and I absolutly love it. I've shot everything out of this gun from slugs to #8's and alot of BB and #2 steel shot in between.

  2. I purchased a pair and I've hunted two full days in them 6am when i put them on til 4pm when i got back to my truck. I'm very Impressed and pleased. They are a great set of waders. I sat for most of the day today with ice on them and I was gtg as far as being warm! Very comfortable and plenty of pockets, especially the hand warmer. I wear thin gloves all day now

  3. You guys that complain about the recoil of your new Benelli....are you serious?? I'm tired of hearing the recoil on this gun kicks my a$$. If that's the case, buy a 20 ga. I have a SBE 2 and I have shot 3" slugs as well as 3.5" BB for goose this year. this gun kicks no more than any other I have shot or owned.

Sorry I just needed to vent

  4. See I shoot an extended modified. It all depends on what you like. It makes since though to just buy a choke rather than a brand new slug barrel.

I look at it as money well spent, i don't do much turkey hunting so tighter chokes (which I have already) are not that important to me. I do lots of goose hunting and now some upland bird hunting because I have a good dog (imo). next year will be the first that I take it out deer hunting though we can use rifles at our place.

  5. You can use IC for both. I use IC and Modifed more then cylinder .

Patternmaster makes a great choke, you can notice the difference in the density of your patterns. There gonig for about $85 so I dont know if you wanna spend that kind of money on a choke. Comp-N-Choke is less expensive but its still shoots very well. The good thing about Patternmaster though is that you'll be able to shoot 00 buck out of it as well as steel.

I didn't know I would use IC for slugs. i've spoke with Dan in CS and he told me to use Cyl.

As far as the price of the choke, i'd rather spend $85 on a choke that i'm going to use all the time rather than buy a new barrel.

  6. Yeah you can use an extended choke on your SBE 2. Just make sure you buy the choke that is made for Benelli's.

What are you gonna be using your shotgun for?

The IC choke i'm using now seems to be the best "all around fit" for all of the upland game and waterfowl hunting I do and the C would be for deer hunting.

  7. I have shot several rounds of 3" BB out of my SBE 2 and haven't noticed the recoil at all, slugs i have felt a bit but i was in a t-shirt at the range also, #8's were like a .22....didn't notice them at all

  8. Being the nub that I am I was wondering, can I use an extended choke (one that sticks out of the barrel) on my SBE 2? If so do any of you guys have recommendations on a particular brand? I'm looking for an IC and C. Thanks in advance guys
