  4. that's sad to hear. that's the day i don't look forward to
  5. if your using a slug use only a rifled slug, do not use sabots and use the cylinder choke.

    SBE II

mine came already in the mag when i bought mine in Nov.
  7. I can tell you this, I've never shot the M2 but I have a LH SBE II and I absolutly love it. I've shot everything out of this gun from slugs to #8's and alot of BB and #2 steel shot in between.
  8. I purchased a pair and I've hunted two full days in them 6am when i put them on til 4pm when i got back to my truck. I'm very Impressed and pleased. They are a great set of waders. I sat for most of the day today with ice on them and I was gtg as far as being warm! Very comfortable and plenty of pockets, especially the hand warmer. I wear thin gloves all day now
  9. Try $400 more here, paid $1600 for mine (with tax) and it's been great so far
  10. Split season here as well, unfortunatly the early season is during deer season, not happy about that
  11. That's to bad...thoughts and prayers to them and their family
  12. Anyone have experience with these? pros, cons? I think i'm going to get a pair, started hunting the river and you know who gets to set the dekes. BTW these are the 1600 gram, it's been below freezing here for a week plus

    Recoil.....

You guys that complain about the recoil of your new Benelli....are you serious?? I'm tired of hearing the recoil on this gun kicks my a$$. If that's the case, buy a 20 ga. I have a SBE 2 and I have shot 3" slugs as well as 3.5" BB for goose this year. this gun kicks no more than any other I have shot or owned. Sorry I just needed to vent
  14. so which one for a SBE II?
  15. I know this is the benelli chat forum but what's the difference between the extended crio and the extended crio plus besides $1.50? http://www.choketube.com/benelli.html

    chokes

I look at it as money well spent, i don't do much turkey hunting so tighter chokes (which I have already) are not that important to me. I do lots of goose hunting and now some upland bird hunting because I have a good dog (imo). next year will be the first that I take it out deer hunting though we can use rifles at our place.

    chokes

I didn't know I would use IC for slugs. i've spoke with Dan in CS and he told me to use Cyl. As far as the price of the choke, i'd rather spend $85 on a choke that i'm going to use all the time rather than buy a new barrel.

    chokes

The IC choke i'm using now seems to be the best "all around fit" for all of the upland game and waterfowl hunting I do and the C would be for deer hunting.
  19. I have shot several rounds of 3" BB out of my SBE 2 and haven't noticed the recoil at all, slugs i have felt a bit but i was in a t-shirt at the range also, #8's were like a .22....didn't notice them at all

    chokes

Being the nub that I am I was wondering, can I use an extended choke (one that sticks out of the barrel) on my SBE 2? If so do any of you guys have recommendations on a particular brand? I'm looking for an IC and C. Thanks in advance guys
  21. I have a SBE2 and I love it, very versatile and user friendly for someone who's never owned a semi-auto like myself
  22. our local atate parks department has a lottery system that they use and two of the acceptable areas to hunt geese are on the golf course. we take advantage of them every chance we get.
  23. i have had no problems with the function of the gun so far, i've had it for over a month and i've shot everything from slugs to #8's in it.
  24. thanks for the help guys!
