Nikolai, Did a search, answered 3 and 4 from your earlier posts. Still curious about the rail mounting if you get a minute. Joe

Nikolai552, I am getting ready to make mods to my SN TAC. I have a few questions. 1. Did you install the rail yourself or did you use a gunsmith? 2. If you installed it yourself, any tips? 3. Does your SNT have the ghost ring sights? 4. What red dot sights did you go with? Thanks, I am looking foward to your pictures. Joe

Snipe656, What kind of parts have you collected? As far as rail installation goes, It might be worth having a gunsmith redrill and tap the holes for screws with bigger threads if possible. I have also considered leaving things just as they are. The gun is pretty nice just stock.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday! Have you installed the rail yet? After reading another thread that mentions that sometimes the mounting holes fail and strip, I was wondering if installing the rail is a job for a professional gunsmith. I am also thinking that maybe its a good idea to mount only a straight rail for sights instead of something that holds shells as well. Any way, I still want a rail put on. The M4 looks like it comes with a rail in front of the ghost ring sights, maybe someone with a M4 can suggest something.

Could anybody suggest what red dot type sights would be good to put on a Supernova Tatical with ghost ring sights? I want to mount the sight on a picitiny rail and I would like them to line up with the existing sights if possible. Any pictures? Thanks

1. Can anyone recomend a top (picitiny?) rail that bolts right on to the tapped holes in front of the ghost ring sights and a good funcional tactical type scope that would bolt on there? I would like to leave the ghost ring sights on. 2. Can I do this myself or do I need a gunsmith? 3. Do you remove the ghost ring sights when you install a scope? 4. Can I use REM Oil Wipes on the stock and barrel or is there something better? 5. Is there such a thing as a lighter load rifled slug shells for target shooting? Please post picctures if possible. Thanks
