  1. I had a couple boxes of Winchester AA ultralights lying around after the last time I took my wife clay busting (Quote from time before that: "Ow, my boob". Yes, we worked on her technique but I also picked up the ultralights as a magic feather). They cycled just fine and as fast as I could pull the trigger.

  2. How not to sell a shotgun, a practicum in seven easy steps

Step 1: Post an item at an apparently ridiculous price. Do not elaborate. Do not post pictures.

Step 2: Refuse to answer questions. Be condescending.

Step 3: Treat any request for information as a personal attack.

Step 4: Throw a hissy fit when the questions are repeated.

Step 5: Delete the ad. Proclaim this site is full of jerks.

Step 6: Claim to have sold the shotgun to somebody.

Step 7: Repeat delusions of persecution.

Glad you sold it to somebody. There are suckers born everyday. They just don't happen to frequent these forums.

Your comment about the difficulty of understanding... Maybe you should reread the very first reply. People really were not trying to be rude.

  3. There are some bragging rights when using a 20 and all your buddy's are shooting a 12's.

Forgive me, but could you elaborate? Is it more difficult to hit with a 20, or is there just a perceived superiority of the 20?

  4. Ok, today I went to the range and put about 200 rounds through the M4 while shooting skeet. While I was cleaning the beast, I noticed that ejected shells had started to deform the receiver where they hit. Has anyone else noticed this? It's actually a sharp folded lip that catches the bore snake.

I was thinking I would probably just file it down so that it doesn't catch the boresnake. Any thoughts?

  5. Ok guys, need some advice. I want to get a Supersport, mostly for clays, but also for pheasant or quail. My question is: 12 or 20 gage? I've only ever owned 12 gages and currently reload for 12.

  6. Used to have a Mossberg 590, but it was part of the trade in package to get the Benelli M4. Down to 2 shotguns (3 if you count the Taurus Judge)

No love for the Ruger Red Label?
