You make a very good point that is hard to argue with.

It was only on the side you see, very little, but obviously enough. Perhaps some assemblers get over zealous with the goo.

No doubt. I was amazed it was so easy. Plus, all the LocTite can out with the old tube. That was nice.

Interesting, mine is also a 1000watt gun.

I received my Ti extension tube last week. Installation was a breeze. A little heat around the receiver and mag tube for about 60 second, a twist using a glove and presto! Unscrewed without a hitch. Cleaned up the receiver threads with acetone, applyed blue loctite to new mag tube threads and screwed it in. Hole job was less than 20-30 minutes. Great product and service.

I believe you can get them on line. I purchased these at Cabela's last year. I also shoot rifled slugs at the range, as that's all they allow.

I've been using the same, Winchester Military 00 buck. I have also used Wolf 2 3/4" 00 buck, but it's 1/8" longer than other standard load lengths, making it impossible to get a full magazine loaded in the M4.
