  1. Yep, it's the go to gun for just such an zombie type occasion. I hate it that he never got to unload it. It does make it's presence nice and clear though and even has the million dollar stock on it. http://www.imfdb.org/index.php?title=Image:ZL-Benelli.jpg
  2. Hookster, are you looking at that particular rifle because your in a restricted state? They are decent rifles, I have shot M1A and find it to be a very decent platform. However, the price is a little steep and if I wasn't in a restriced state I would probably get a DSA FAL for roughly the same price and is also very reliable. I guess it would be a question of what your using it for, I couldn't imagine using that thing indoors.
  3. I got mine today and all I got was email saying it was shipped on 9/18/. It got mine 2 days after Bighat and was getting a little nervous, but was going to give it another few days. I'm sure others are getting them today or manana. They are showing up slow but sure!
  4. Joy joy, definetly worth the wait. I mean it really looks alot better than the stock one as far as the color match goes and the factory didn't seem to use too much loc-tite on mine, just heated a little and turned right off. A+ for Kip
  5. That really boggles me also. If and when a manufacturer jumps on producing a quality rival to Benelli, I sure wouldn't want to be the bagholder of a $900 stock when others makes are selling at 1/3 the price and also have more bell and whisltes added to them(if possible). I should have jumped on the one I see on Ebay 2 months ago that sold for $600, but even that was hard to suck up to.
  6. Wow, I had a few leads the last few months on here, Ebay and GB to pick one up for $700ish and now look how crazy these thing are being bid up on GB for http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=140853793 They are nice to have, but at these prices I can get a decent quality AR or pistol with an accessory or two. I know the market sets the price, but it might be getting a little out of hand and it's almost the price of an ounce of gold(for plastic) no way.
  7. Just comparing lengthy lead times on quality products.BTW I'd probably get more use out of a lifetime supply of ammo than a garage paperweight.
  8. I'm in the same boat waiting since my order on July 2nd and he informed he it was shipped last Thurs. After reading the posts here months before I knew what kind of wait I was in for, so I didn't let it phase me much. After speaking with Kip a few weeks ago, I really saw what kind of passion he puts in his product and it makes the wait feel worth it. It's like being on wait list for a Mclaren F1, you know it will be worth the wait after you start her up.
  9. Thank for the catalog. was curious if anyone here has a review on the INSIGHT MRDS Mini Red Dot Sight. Looks about the same price as the T1, which I was thinking of getting. This one only has a 1 year battery life, but it looks somewhat promising. Sorry about the hijack, but was curious.
  10. I spoke with Kip today and he said they'll be shipping out in about two weeks for those that got in before his early July cutoff for this batch. So it's pretty much inline for what we were anticipating. Real nice guy, talked for a while and will definetely give him more business when the BCH's and muzzle brakes come out. They are in the works it seems right now, but he really wants to focus on the tubes so he doesn't get behind on getting those out.
  11. Hey Stranger, I have a Sidearmor on it's way thanks to your great attention to detail and I might try a similar setup. Got a question on the rail ladders on the top rail. I know you said it impairs the sights a bit, however I've seen ladders that seem to have a slight concaveness down the center. Wasn't sure if you've tried them or know of them. I've tried to find them for comparison , but had no luck. I can't find the post here, but I thought I saw someones pic of theyre sidearmor with it attached? I found the ones I was mentioning above, they are the Surefire z70's, Looking closer at them, they won't work. They were deceiving because they have a dent down the center, but are still the same height. Nice build you got going there, by the time I get mine done I probably could have bought another m4, but i like to dial in every gun a have to the way I like it, expensive habit!
