  1. I have the ext. long range Pattern Master and love it. As a matter of fact I have 2 of them. I'm willing to part with one of them. Both are one season old. If interested just let me know.

I just got a patternmaster ext from a member here.Look forward to trying it out and putting up some reviews. I want to give a word of praise to what a stand up guy michaelap is when it came to selling his item on here. Good commutation and item as described. Thanks again michaelap Great Seller!!!! and may your ducks be plentiful.;)

  2. I have a few bang arounds RNT quackhead quack stacker,Zink PowerClucker goose call, and a handmade single reed call from a local

call maker. I plan on buying a few new ones to try out like the duckcommander duckpicker and wood duck call. Our woodies don't seem to decoy and calling might not work.

  3. I've got a buddy that posted this to another shotgun forum, but in having just found this I thought I'd put it here for him to see if someone here hopefully knows something:

"I bought my SBE2 in June. I put over 500 rounds through it during dove season in Sep. and it didn't give me any problems. Then I put about 500 more 3 1/2 rounds through during this duck season and it was fine.

Now all of a sudden it is giving me all kinds of grief. Before you read this keep in mind that I am very nice to my gun and clean it after every 30 rounds or so. I am talking about taking it apart and cleaning everything and slightly lubing everything up exactly according to the manufactor.

What it does every 5th round of shots or so, it is taking the third shell and instead of loading it into the chamber it is acually spitting it out of my gun 4 feet away. No wonder I have been going through so many shells. The first 5 times it happened I just thought that I had frogotten to put in the third shell. But a couple of weeks ago I acually saw it out of the corner of my eye fly form my gun and I went and picked it up and cussed very loud because I could have doubled on a set of greeneheads. This has happened a total of about 12 times in the last month.

Now I have switched ammunuition and it has'nt spit out a full shell yet. What it is doing now is, not loading the third shell completely into the chamber. I just have to give it a little push and then I can shoot it. I am happy doing that because at least I can get three shots out of it but still I loose time doing that.

I called Benelli and they told me to send it in but I would'nt get it back until after duck season. I just thought that if you spend $1200 on a brand new gun it should function properely for at least the first duck season.

I hope no one has this many problems. I have heard nothing but god about the SBE2 that is why I bought it.

    Any ideas?"

    And:

Well, I took the troublesome super black devil II out for another spin last weekend. I don't know why I keep putting myself through this grief but sense I spent so much money I wanted to use it. It started spitting out the third shell again consitintantly, so I thought I would outsmart it and only put in two shells. Well just my luck it started spitting that one out as well. I just can't win. My gun is the offical SBEII one shot wonder!

I wish Benelli would give me some advice over the phone or pay for a local gunsmith to check it out.

After duck season I am going to send it in and hopefully they either reconditon it or replace it.

Regardless I am going to sell it because I am going to go for a over and under. Not much can go wrong with that hopefully. If anyone wants the one shot wonder after I get it back form Benelli the first 800 dollars takes it.

    Questions:

-Anyone here have an answer that will keep him from having to send it in? Some minor fix that needs to take place maybe?

-If he does sell it, does the warranty go with the gun, or no?

Wonder what the verdit was on this old post after sending it back for ejecting the unfired shells?

  4. Is there a more detailed manual online for the M2? I'd like to know specifically what to clean after using the gun. How do I get the bolt out? Is there anything I should NOT use oil on?

Depends on how much shooting and how you take care of your guns. I like to take it apart and clean the barrel and wipe the bolt, wipe out all fouling from the inside of the receiver with a good CLP like Breakfree.Put it back together and put a good rust preventive on the outside like Corrosion X or Break Free CLP and lube the bolt rails lightly. Good to go I do this every outing and at the end of the season I will clean the bolt and plunger unless I get it wet then it all gets cleaned and dried out.Tucker had a good post on cleaning the SBEII I'll try to find it and post it.It's what I have and pretty sure will work for all Benellis.

  6. I think the wood maybe kick a little less due to the weight.I have shot wood guns for a long time and have had know issues if they get wet take apart ,let them dry and oil before putting them up simple.I went with the Black 28" SBEII looks super sexy when oiled you won't be sorry with either purchuse wood or black. As for the Vinci it's new 3" not alot of time in the field no add on's. The m2 is a great little gun and is the same as the Vinci and has the wood option and is proven.

  7. I own an 870,1100,1187 all are great guns and have held up well in any condition but they must be taken care of or they will rust.My 1100 is a 1975 model and has the engraving on it. I don't shoot it much at all maybe a quail hunt or something but the weather has to be right and the woods not to thick:D.It was left to me by my Granddaddy and its priceless to me and yours will be to you one day.

  8. I would put the 1100 up and keep it,don't do anything to ruin it or change the factory condition. It will be ok to shoot but I would keep it as pristine as I could and buy a gun just for hunting.I would get what I could afford at fit the best.Auto's are great for skeet and other sports but can be tricky to clean for a newbie and are sold in cheaper modles like the Stoger m2000,Mossburg 935 great beginner autos for everything for skeet to Deer. You may want to look at a budget over and under like the condor it's on sale time to time for $350 or less. But, if your set on a pump go with the nova but to me an old remington 870 is hard to beat and fits me alot better than any nova.Good luck with your choice let us know what you choose and cherish the gift from your Dad.;)
