I just ordered a full length titanium mag tube and spring from Kip at Carriercomp. Judging from the number of posts on this I would expect that there are many on this board that have installed this mag tube from Kip. I just wondered how easy the installation was. Is it hard getting the old tube off? (I have a new M4). Is a heat gun required? Does the new tube come with complete installation instructions? Are any special tools needed?

I just received my new Vinci. In the manual id does mention factory extension tubes. The longest one was 7 or 8 + 1, don't have the manual with me. But in either case the tube was extremely easy to remove and change, just a push of a button.

Ok, now there's 2 posts which say Rem Oil is crap. I recently bought my first shot gun and I'm new to Benelli, so when I bought cleaning supplies I picked up a can of Rem Oil in a spray can. What's bad about it and what should I use?

Never mind, the spare parts list manual showed a diagram of the tube including the shot plug limiter. It was very easy to remove. Just watch out for the spring in the tube.

Just fired a couple of boxes of shells through my new Benelli Vinci. The gun performed nicely out of the box with no problems except the magazine only holds 2 shells. It's supposed to hold 3 shells. I understand that Benelli ships these with a tube limiter in place to limit the magazine to 2 shells. Is there an easy way to remove the limiter? I'd appreciate any instructions.

Thanks for all the info, I'll give it a try and see what happens.

I know that the M4 is primarily a "tactical" weapon, but has anyone had any success using one of these for skeet or trap shooting? If so what choke did you use? It seems to me that in the 30-50 yard range they should work ok.

Thanks for the info. I plan to use 2 3/4" shells so 5 in the mag should be adequate.

The M4 manual online at the Benelli site states that the magazine holds 6 shells. I assume that's 6 +1. Does anyone know whether there is a limiter installed? Or does the stock M4 sold in the US really hold 6 shells.

Are you saying it did fail when limp-wristing it? My wife would like to fire it so I'd like to use low recoil shells and even then there could be some "limp-wristing".

Has anyone used the Winchester WinLite shells in a M4? Will they cycle properly? For close range target shooting these make sense. I have a brand new M4, do I need to break it in first with regular loads?
