  1. I haven't been here in a few years just getting back in to it, funny I just removed mine and installed originals found the stock ones are actually brighter and larger threw the Meprolights in the garbage LOL.

After seeing this dumb on my part.

  2. Search this forum regarding opinions of the ProMag unit. Here is one thread in particular:

    http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php/31624-ProMag-C-Stock

I can say the price is nice...however, IMO, the quality is suspect, however several disagree and rave about them.

That was my first impression, to good to be true.

All too often people will brag about something they bought Cheap totally forgoing any quality, because they feel they got something they Know they should not be able to have because of financial limitations.

It's the Walmart attitude, spend 20 minutes in one and you will know what I am talking about.

They think they have a cart full of gold when it is really gold plated lead.

  3. I have used pelican cases when I was in the military. They are water proof, and damn near bullet proof too. They are nice for long distance travel, but a little too heavy and bulky for frequent range use.

I am a Big Fella, I just carry it under my arm like a school book, LOL, No problem for me and it has wheels :D

  4. You guys need to understand that there is a large body of law centered around the idea of "products liability."

You can argue with me until you are blue in the face.

Doesn't make a lick of difference who made it or who is buying it, or the reasons surrounding the deal.

The exposure to liability exists, no matter what you guys say.

I'm not going to argue with you.

    I'm right. You are wrong.

And I'm not saying that in principal that I agree with my position. I'm just saying that I'm right. And you are wrong.

But I guarantee you this. If one of you put those pistons in your gun and somehow, someway, that gun blows up in your face and you die from it, or become so severely disabled that you can no longer work, your family won't be in here taking your place and arguing against product liability. Instead, they'll be sitting in a lawyers office plotting the lawsuit against the guy who sold you the defective pistons. Guaranteed.

That's all there is to say.

And Who created that, a LAWYER.

  5. If I put a piston you make into my gun and the piston you made was defective and I were injured because of the defect, how would my suing you translate to me not taking the blame for my own actions? What would I be to blame for?

You must be a lawyer, they always find a way to blame someone for something.

You chose to shoot the gun that should be reason enough to take responsibility for your actions!

You chose to change the pistons from the original design, that should be enough for you to take responsibility for your actions.

  6. Why do you post pictures in everyones threads? What does that picture have to do with the OP's question?

As for which sling to get - I just installed my urbanertsling and really like it. If you have any questions about which to get, shoot them an email and you'll get a response very promptly.

Yeah it is getting a bit rediculous.

Must be trying to compensate for some other Shortcoming.

Like the guy that drives the Ferrari to the club.

  7. I've not seen either Kips or FFT's titanium tube, yet. I only have the titanium charging handle from FFT and I'm thoroughly impressed.

From what I can gather, FFT's tube may be a stronger titanium than Kips, but I'm not 100% sure and I'm not confident that matters once you get into Ti tubes. The weakest Ti tube may be just fine - again, I do not know it is not my area of expertise.

The other difference is FFT has them in stock and you'd likely have the tube in a matter of days, and with Kip, you'll have to pray for an email answer and wait a long time to get a tube. I think there are people around here that have been waiting a loooonnggg time to get a Kip tube.

I got mine from CarrierComp within a week right around Christmas.

  8. Good points and I respect your opinion bro. But I look at it this way... The tube I have is in pretty nice condition the finish matches my M4 perfectly. Now that being said is it a FACTORY Benelli part? I can't be 100% sure but when we were buying these tubes from NUMRICH eveyone here that was getting in on these were pretty darn sure they were indeed genuine Benelli. I would beg to differ on you with the $150. And if these are only available to LE than good luck tracking one down. I am not saying I have an impossible Mag tube to find but I wouldn't sell this for less than $300. If anyone is interested in offering $300 shipped I will let it go otherwise I will just hold on to it. I believe it to be a factory tube and there is really no way to tell unless I send it to Benelli for confirmation and I don't feel it necessary. I know that if I could put this tube on my Benelli legally it would be on there over any reproduction tube but thats just me. Anyway... Thank you for all the input. I appreciate it. Mike

Well looks like you will be holding on to it then, because the aftermarket ones are Premium quality, Materials and match perfectly for a little more than half that and come with a spring.

You can install it legally, change the stock to a field stock, this is what my local gun shop told me.

Good Luck what ever you decide.

  9. Does anyone own a PS SuperSport? I want to sign up for some Sporting Clay competitions at my local gun club this spring. I already own a couple Benelli's and I love them. Just want to see if anyone has some experience with the Performance Shop models.

I would like to know also, the Carbon fiber model has my Eye.

  10. It was about 4 years ago so maybe an older member that remembers can chime in and confirm that they were factory Benelli tubes. I seem to remember that everyone that got one from NUMRICH was in agreement that they were indeed factory full length mag tubes I will post a pic when I have some time. I recently checked NUMRICH and they don't seem to have any Benelli full length mag tubes at least I couldn't find one currently in stock. Keep in mind this was three or four years ago that I purchased it. Mike;)

Granted I am just trying to help you decide on a price to sell it for.

With the current offering from Carriercomp that comes complete with Wolff Spring, I would say you would have to offer it for below or around what this one sells for.

I guess If Someone absolutely has to have an original Benelli Mag Tube it might be worth more but not sure.

  11. Aimpoints are EXCELLENT products and the M4S(with the low battery mount) is the best sight they have ever made.

That said, in my opinion it's a rifle (carbine) sight and not the best for the M4 if that's what you had in mind for it.

I had an Aimpoint T-1 and an EoTech 55? on my M4 and have found a cheaper alternative to be much better -- the Burris FastFire II. It's light, doesn't obscure one's field of view and the dot is easy to pick up. You can even buy the picatinney mount that shields the sight from getting banged around.

By the way, I have almost all red dot and tactical sights (AP, EoTech, Burris, Leupold, Trijicon) on some weapon and they're all very good quality. It's a personal assessment on what works best for each application.

    Good luck.

Thank you for the nice write up, that is what I am looking for.

    Please keep them coming.

  12. So I was looking around on Benelliusa.com today and I see the PS Cordoba and SS. Sweet ass guns. One part I would really like for my Cordoba is the round bolt. Does anyone know who makes them for Benelli?

    Thanks

    Brad

    I suspect Briley Manufacturing.

  13. Just trying to get a few laughs. After all, how many combinations of slugs, buckshot, BB shot can you list? (Geez, what a tough crowd!)

I suppose you could pretend it's the 1890's and load up that M4 shotshell with a roll of dimes or perhaps a handfull of steel ball bearings. Rock salt anybody???

Fleshettes, are still the nastiest ammo you could put through an M4!

Do you have a Picture or a Link?
