The Factory Shim should be: Shim A = 55mm (DAH) - 2.25" 35mm (DAC) - 1.375" Shim B = 60mm (DAH) - 2.37" 40mm (DAC) - 1.5" ***This is the standard setup for most hunting situations and is the exact DAH and DAC as the Mossberg 835

There is a very simple solution to this issue. You must take the trigger completely out. You will notice the rear of the trigger is "squared." When you fire a heavy recoil load, the squared portion of the trigger jams into the rear of the trigger gaurd and gets stuck. The solution is to round the squared portion by sanding it. Once it is rounded, the trigger will never stick again.
