I have shoot both and they are both great guns.
Therefore, when I went to get one for my self I got the Vinci.
I like the way it shoulders and swings it is also a little cheaper price and I only shoot 2 3/4 and 3" shells and it cleans up fast and easy.

It looks ok but it is hard to see with out taking it all the way apart and not to sure i want to do it my self.

Anyone every have the safety stick or lock -up on them?

i went through the same dilema. many people told me the 3 1/2 inch shell is the answer to a nonexistant problem. if you cant hit it with a 3 than you shouldnt be shootin at it. i got the vinci and love it! but my opinion is which ever gun fits you better and your more comfortable with. both are great guns.
Me to i love my Vinci but it had the best fit for me.

I love my Vinci at $1100 here in Indiana it was well worth the price.

Like you I had a Mossberg but scine I've been shooting my Vinci I been busting clays and knocking down birds.
Your going to love your new Benelli.

3 days of shooting doves and the 4th day of teal and geese.
I love this gun.
-
I would pattern it first.
I my self use my IC. choke and Hevi-Metal BB's.
I shoot over decoys no more then 30 to 40 yards tops.
Set the decoys with a land zone for the geese and sit off to the side 20 yards.

Shot doves for 3 days then went after teal for 2 more days.
From dove loads to 3" Hevi-Metal not 1 jam.
And I just clean the gun today.

Teal open today here in northern Indiana and a lot of them have show up in the last few days.
-
3" #3 Hevi- Metal dose great on teal to mallards.

I got my Vinci in March and love it.
I can't wait for dove , teal and early goose.

The Vinci and SBE II take the same choke tubes.
-
Carlson also makes the new Hevi-shot choke tubes for the Vinci.

It's a lot easyer and fastter then my last gun.

I got my Vinci last March and love it no jams or miss fires and easy to clean.
It feels good with less recoil and is lite weight.

My Vinci with Hevi-Metal gave me a great season.
And yes the case is awkward but the gun is great.
