I also have this problem with my Supernova 12 gauge. The forend slide sticks near the beginning and end of cycling the action. I lubed the slide rails that attach to the bolt but am afraid to put more lube anywhere that could attract dirt. I've put about 150 rounds through the gun so far.

Hello. I just saw a short video on Youtube dedicated to solving this exact problem. Search for "Benelli Supernova trigger" and I think you'll find it. The author has a fix for it. He said that it happens with the camo guns shooting 3.5 " loads repeatedly.
