Hi all,
I just got a brand new Montefeltro. I have been using the snap caps, but the bullets always gets stuck on the carrier.
It looks like with a little tap it will go up. any ideas?
Yes, I do, you shouldn't be using bullets in your shotgun.

I did, I sent an inquiry to them and it took (looking it up) 26 hours for a response before I placed an order. They are estimating a 3 month wait on their extended tubes.

agreed, $400 is still kind of steep for a collapsible stock

Two things. That Briley unit is for the M4. If I remember correctly, the OP has a Super Nova. Also, it is not a +2 magazine extension as they explain in the description. http://www.briley.com/magazineextensionbarrelclamp-1.aspxThe Briley one is a magazine tube extension , it screws on where the Benelli factory mag tube cap goes and adds extra rounds . Mine adds +2 for 7 total in tube and one in the chamber. The rails are great as I have a Streamlight on it. The Briley comes with their own follower and new spring. It is a great addition to a HD weapon .I own a SN and Briley makes one for this gun as well a other models.
You must have a different one than what Briley has in that link above, the description clearly states "This item is not a magazine extension."

This isn't a political comment I am about to make but a fact. They want to tax us and spend even more (look at the current deficit spending). Here is my opinion, I believe they will tax ammo and gun sales in create more bureaucracy in excess of the new taxes they will try to generate by strangling us.

Theoretically, the H2O will function smoother. It will certainly be easier to clean. However, I've heard some owners have had issues with the H2O due to tollerance stacking. Such issues as the shell elevator hanging up. You'd do nearly as well sending a regular M4 off to a place like WMD or Robar and having select parts coated. My friend has his Benelli carrier at WMD guns right now for refinishing.
Robar is doing the NP3 coating on the H20s by the way.
To address the original post, take a stock M4 ($1,899) and add a full factory full length tube ($300), factory collapsible stock ($450) and NP3 coating ($450) and you'll take it up over $3,000. The list price of the H20 is far less than that (I believe it was $2,269) and I paid even less than that.
Full disclosure: I am still waiting on my H20 from my Benelli dealer, I ordered one from them (just before SHOT and before this dealer even knew they existed which was just prior to Benelli's official press release) and based on a recent letter from Benelli to my dealer, it isn't looking terribly optimistic that all of the original initial orders will be filled but I am still hopeful.

I haven't been able to pull the trigger on this yet but I did just talk to a tech at Pro Mag and he indeed confirmed that this is real and they are available. He also indicated that he had heard that these were being produced in conjunction with Benelli somehow. In fact, he thought that Benelli had asked Pro Mag to make this part given all the import restrictions on the original factory model. I also pointed out to him about the 4 position mistake and he was going to look into getting that info changed. If this thing is the real deal, the OEM C-stock market just went belly up.
It now states "3 position collapsible aluminum butt stock with rubber recoil pad replaces fixed stock on Beneli M4 shotguns."

Good point, and I don't have a crystal ball. Like I said previously though, lesser of two evils, and my vote is not based on just one issue (i.e., the second amendment).

Mitt for brains is NO friend of gunowners. The downside is that if and when Mitt for Brains pulls a Bush 1 move there's unlikely to be any uproar out of other GOPers like there would be if the Communist Kenyan did the exact same thing due to 'party loyalty' (puke). I realize the truth hurts, but we have a liberal masquerading as a something else entirely and is just as dangerous as any other collectivist with any other label. Deal with it.
I understand and it is clear you have much disdain for him, but with the NRA endorsement, I imagine the NRA will do everything they can to make sure he doesn't forget that if he obtains the office.
I am pretty confident that the current President, if given a second term, would have no qualms about initiating as much gun control as possible with no reelection to be concerned with. Look at what he has done with his US apology tour, his stance on nuclear weapons, his favoritism towards Muslim countries, his general lack of respect for the Constitution in general, his comment to Putin in confidence, his disdain of Israel and Great Britain and many of our traditional allies, Fast and Furious, his Chicago roots, his comment about cheap hand guns during the last debate, I could go on and on but why bother.

Did anybody catch the comment that President Obama said about reinstating the assault weapons ban? In his 4 year term he stated that he witnessed 5 brutal shootings.
I highly doubt President Obama personally witnessed 5 brutal shootings during his term.
Also stated in his hometown Chicago, criminals arent using AK47's, they are using cheap handguns. Thoughts??The best part is, Chicago and Illinois have as many gun laws as any place in the US yet their crime rate continues to escalate...they should definitely enact some more laws to try to correct the problem.

Alright Guys, I received the baby magnums from Creeper. Was anyone else going to send anything they wanted to get tested ? If not, i'm going to start prepping for these tests. I'll do them as soon as my NP3+ pistons come back from coating.
I was still planning to do that, I had some ammo on back order that should arrive late this week that I wanted to include...

Why was Amsdorf banned? Certainly he irked some of you in particular and acted juvenile (and he wasn't the only one that was acting juvenile) but I think he was attempting to be helpful as well.

Porting a gun will reduce recoil and prevent muzzle rise which ultimatley leads to more accuracy with your firearm. It accomplishes this by releasing gasses emitted through the ports. I have a Glock 35 which has a slide cut out on top. This allows for a ported barrell to be used that does not extend past the slide. The thing you have to be careful of is using low power ammo with ported barrels because your gun will not be able to cycle properly. With a 45 caliber weapon that shouldn't be a problem though.
The 34 and 35 slides aren't cut for porting purposes, they are that way to reduce the weight. I suppose you could use a ported barrel, not really sure why one would, they shoot so well the way they are.

Sooo, let me know what you guys want to see tested. I've got some drywall and some ballistic gelatin and nothing but time.
