Are there any other places in the country that can compare to South Dakota when it come to upland wingshooting? I've been looking at some outfitters there in this Directory but can't find too many places that fit my price range.

In the South East a lot of people credit the infestation of fire ants as a big cause of the disappearance of wild quail. The hated ants don't let the mothers nest and protect their eggs. Theres also been a big rise in the coyote population in recent decades. Along with the other reasons mentioned it seems the wild birds can't catch a break. Sportsman

I try to avoid thinking about the season too much this time of year because I just end up slightly depressed that it's so far away.
