Thank God we have you to search there Russian boy.

That 100% did not answer my question.

I believe there was a thread on here in the past month or so discussing why Benelli quit offering the H2O, something about not meeting 922r compliance with simply 're-manufacturing' by applying the Robar finish.
I read all of this- why would it need to meet the 922r if the bill which this thread is supposed to be about actually did what the NRA claims in that link that it said it did? Have you read a copy of this bill? Do you have a link for it?
-
Then why did Benelli quit the H20?
-
Oh my Oh my, this is the most exciting thing I've read all day! It says it was passed and has been signed into law.

Oh, for what it is worth, I broke the snap ring in half today. I did not have it opened enough to get it off the hammer roll pin and it simply snapped in half. Yes I was using snap ring pliers. I do not believe it is necessary to have the ring installed to fire the gun as the receiver appears to fit flush on either side of the hammer retaining pin, however, I ordered a couple replacement snap rings from Brownells.

Well, for what it's worth, my FFT forend is superb.
Bluedog810, Concerning your US marked hammer- did you buy your shotgun new?
-
Some people have had no issues with those and others have reported and posted video of fit issues, squeaking and popping from them, If I ended up with the later my OCD wouldn't like it... :-)
Yeah, but if you want to have a factory C-Stock and an un-defiled mag tube, I am not sure what other choice you have for your 4th part. Mag tube, Hammer, Follower, and Forend.... You have a better idea? I'll let you know how they fit either today or tomorrow.
-
In my case, I want to keep my factory grips and stock so the hammer is my new third part since I took off my Surefire forend.
Later,
Hookster
I'm pretty sure these are the same as the OEM and would have been easier to install than the hammer...FWIW: http://freedomfightertactical.com/products-page/922r-compliant-forends/
I did get a card in the mail yesterday telling me to go down to the post office and sign for mine, so I'll let you know just how similar they are soon....

Is that an 11707? It interests me that it has a fixed stock yet is stamped LE.
-
This is such a stupid game, I wish it weren't important and wasn't for keeps.
No qualms with that, have you considered making a "sticky" for parts that are needed to be compliant with a full length mag tube and collapsible stock, or, with just a full length mag tube? I believe the number is 4 and 3 respectively, and I also believe there is a great listing at FFT, but it would be nice to have a sticky here at the forum you know.
-
The earlier models came L.E. stamped , i seen a few of them here and on Gunbroker.com .
That is good to know- I was not aware of that. I wonder why Benelli quit the L.E. stamp besides price?

Intriguing.

Yea I added one to the cart from Midway on Saturday and decided I wanted to shop a little more so I could use one of Midways discount codes. Well they were out of stock today so I went ahead and paid extra from Brownells as I was worried about these hammers drying up again.
-
I would like to see a pic of the sticker on the end of the box- I am curious as to rather it is really an 11721 as I was not aware that they were stamped L.E... I wonder if the original owner had that done?

You could order the titanium full tube replacement for $189 if you don't mind waiting. . . I do not believe the M4 I had in the Marines had an extension- it was just a full sized tube. Of course it was steel, not titanium, so you would not be identical.

The DG looks to match a standard black M4 quite well.

Good to worked out for you, but would you be so kind as to explain to us what the exact problem was and how it will be fixed?
