I clean any firearm after each use but I rarely wash my car.
Wow. That hits home.

Does the Mesa Side saddle come with screws or do you reuse the stock screws?
In either case, the screws are in all likely hood some form of Steel. The receiver is aluminium. Assuming the screws were the right threading, I can't imagine Mesa will be able to help as I am not sure how they could have designed to avoid whatever caused the issue you are experiencing.
With regards to the butt stock, when you say it came loose, can you provide more details?

2A makes no mention of country of origin.
Their little theme is invalid.
Perhaps if your are willing to be the test case.

There are several different stocks for the M4. Collapsible, field, tactical. Et Cetera.

Generally if the mount uses a cross bolt type design where a something full spans the rail it won't be able to damage it. The larue mount uses a recoil lug that just so happens to be just a tad wider than the groove down the OEM Bm4 rail. When used in combination, problems result.

Hmmm ya. Looks like SD's photobucket account exceeded bandwidth.
I haven't seen him around lately.

Is that receiver extension collapsible or single position?

You have to love the ATF and their interpretations.
New M4 owner, & new to shotguns as well... Questions?

Hip shooting SA shotties is a good way to determine just how flexible they are with low brass loads. The opposite of putting the butt stock against a tree to troubleshoot the same.
If you can hip shoot your SA shotty with low brass and experience no feed issues, things are running like a top.
