  1. Hello,

I just got a notification that some of the OEM parts (for example, specific trigger parts) I was having a hard time finding are now available at Brownells.  I also noticed that their prices seem a bit more reasonable compared to others.

    Have a great day!

  2. I thought I would show the finished product.  Now I have my original trigger with no modifications and my new trigger with all the upgrades I mentioned at the beginning of this post.  Thanks to Stranger Danger for the help.

Some side by side pictures below.

Benelliwerks runs his M4’s fully collapsed and has a regular height optic like the Leap. It never felt comfortable to me, but it may work for you.

A Leap would be much too high for me in middle or fully extended position.

I would love to see a picture of Benelliwerks's set up.  I searched but couldn't find.  I think I'm ordering the mount to give it a shot.  Thanks

Yes height over bore is the issue.  What stock you run (i.e. c-stock in middle position, field stock/pg stock, or Mesa adjustable riser) makes all the difference.  I personally run a c-stock in the middle position which dictates the need for a slightly higher over bore line of sight than the irons.

    C-Stock sir.

  5. Hello,

I currently have the sync mount with a RMR red dot on my M4.  It looks great and seems a very popular choice on this forum.

I was recently looking at the Leap mount and was wondering if anyone went that route.

it definitely sits higher on the gun but the mount and red dot can easily be removed and installed on another gun.

    Thoughts please.  Thanks.

My least favorite part is the disconnector pin. Sometimes they don’t fit very well. I installed a customers last night that absolutely refused to go into the FFT disconnector. Swapping the pin for a new one I had fixed it.

I’ve been seeing a lot of FFT kits needing fitting on the disconnector hook side lately. Doesn’t matter if it is the polymer frame or the A&S Engineering frame. The hammer ends up hanging on the disconnector hook. Fitting takes some care with a good hand file to gain clearance.

Thank you.  I believe I have the problem you mention.  Can you be specific on what / where you filed to fix?  I appreciate it sir.

  7. I didn't mention above but I am building a trigger with brand new parts  rather than using the trigger that came with the gun.  This way I know I have a working trigger and can also use it for a reference to make sure my new one is working correctly.  Someone asked for the parts I used.  They are listed below along with where I found them:

    AFTERMARKET PARTS

Enhanced Trigger Guard - No logo (includes a trigger pin and the safety plunger retaining pin)- A&S Engineering

Shotgun Reduced Effort Trigger Spring Pack (Primarily for Reduced Effort Safety Spring and Benelli Part - 70004 - Shell Release Lever Spring) - A&S Engineering

FFT Trigger Pack Upgrade and Wolff Trigger Springs - Freedom Fighter Tactical

FFT Worry-Free Extended Carrier - Freedom Fighter Tactical

Benelli Oversized Safety - Dave’s Metal Works

    BENELLI OEM PARTS

70013 - Carrier Spring Plunger - Numrich Gun Parts

70018 - Breech Bolt Latch Pin  - Numrich Gun Parts

70023 - Trigger Pin - Numrich Gun Parts

70022 - Shell Release Lever - Numrich Gun Parts

70017 - Breech Bolt Latch - Freedom Fighter Tactical

70005 - Safety Plunger - Freedom Fighter Tactical

70008 - Disconnector Plunger - Freedom Fighter Tactical

70016 - Hammer Spring Cap - Freedom Fighter Tactical

70007 - Disconnector Pin - Freedom Fighter Tactical

70019 - Trigger Guard Pin - Freedom Fighter Tactical

70021 - Trigger Pin Bushing - Freedom Fighter Tactical

Make it 922R compliant after changing to a C-Stock and 7 round tube is what I’d guess

correct.  Have the tube on order.  Going with A&S trigger assembly and the FFT trigger.

  9. I’m new and also looking but here’s what I’m seeing:

    - gun broker has a few but even used ones have starting bids on $1,000 and up

    - eBay gets a few but highest bids are $800+ and auctions haven’t ended

    - freedom fighter tactical lists at $600 but hasn’t had any for over a year and will only sell to active military and law enforcement

    - benelli parts .net occasionally has them for $600 but currently sold out. This seems like the best chance but I haven’t received yet (mixed reviews on this site)

    - I think I saw a used one see on here the other day for $550 that sold right away

If anyone sees any other options please post.

    Thank you
