The barrels numbers and the serial number of the gun will not match. They are different numbers.

Every year DU, picks a 'Gun of the year". There are a certain amount of that specific model made for that specific year. It will likely never be re-produced and if in fact the same model is picked for a different year, it's again dated for that year and a certain amount of that model are made. Most have specific serial numbers that also reflect the year made. Some collect them. If it has the DU logo and the special serial then you know it's one of the above. It's up to you if you want to part with it.

They are plugs. Go through the bottom and just punch the plugs out.

The M1014's that are sold today are a standard line item. The limited run we did in the 2003-2004 have the specialized serial numbers, the flag engraved, and only 2500 were made.

This gun is new for 2025. You should start seeing it on dealers shelves in or around July.
