  1. Midwest Gunworks has the rings in stock for $5: https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/70071
  2. I would recommend the 5 MOA SRO for a defensive shotgun. I'm an avid USPSA shooter and most guys in open and carry optics run a 5 to 6 and sometimes larger MOA dots. This is because it picks up significantly faster than a smaller dot for most people. The argument is that you can turn up a smaller dot and make it appear larger. This is true, however, for many people it's detracting because it "blooms" the dot. I personally hate this and prefer and crisp round dot that isn't glaring bright and spikey looking. Also, a 5 MOA dot is only about an inch or so at 25 yards so it's more precise than the shotgun will ever be.
  3. The TTI spring kit definitely reduces the trigger pull. I have an M2 that has the whole TTI enhancements for competition and that includes those springs. I believe they also did some polishing as well so I can’t say mine is just springs. I can say my trigger pull weight is about 2.5lbs. The trigger spring and hammer spring are reduced power in the TTI kit to reduce the pull weight. Yes, the hammer spring also reduces the trigger pull weight because the amount of tension the hammer spring puts on the sear, the more weight it takes to release the hammer. The down side to the reduced power hammer spring is reduced force on the primer. I haven’t had any light strikes with my TTI M2 but it is something to be aware of.
  4. Ok, I’m officially an M4 (M1014) owner. However, this isn’t my first Benelli. Here’s my M4 with my competition M2. Now I just need to get the 3 position buffer tube and 7 round mag.
  5. Thank you for the insight. I have also noticed that some don’t worry about it and others that maintain compliance.
  6. Very nice! I’ll probably get the M1014 as you have. I like the flag, the stock and I have no interest in changing chokes because this will not be for hunting or clays so the fixed choke is perfect. I will also get the 3 position buffer tube so I can collapse the stock and 7 round mag tube. With those two items, what other parts did you change to maintain 922 compliance?
  7. Hello! First post from a new guy interested in an M4. I noticed the M1014 version that many shops are listing as “Limited Edition”. However, in doing some research about this variant, it looks like it was released around 2017. The Benelli website doesn’t mention anything about being limited so is this model now a regularly available option or is it a limited re-release? BTW, I’ve determined that the difference between the M1014 and the M4 is the fixed skeletonized stock, M1014 engraving (instead of M4), US Flag engraving and fixed choke heavy barrel.
