  1. I'm really liking the Leupold Delta Point Pro. I have the 6 MOA version, it's quite quick to pick up the dot. Large field of view and it's really clear, without a lot of that tinting I see on other dots. Battery is on top so don't have to remove it to replace the battery. There's all the other good stuff like lifetime warranty, and made in the USA if that's something you take into consideration.
  2. Howdy folks! Been meaning to get around to posting my m1014 for a couple weeks now that I finally finished it up. Of course like probably every single person that owns an m4 variant of some type, I owe a huge amount of thanks to StrangerDanger. I believe I used something like 5 of his guides. As well as received some help and encouragement via PMs. Not my first firearm, but the first time I did any "gunsmith" sort of activity. I had only done basic cleaning and maintenance up to this point:
  3. I have the GGGAZ +2 Extension on my Supernova. It extends past the muzzle by about maybe 1/2 an inch or so. I guess the Carlson and others extend further, but I only heard that anecdotally, haven't actually seen it myself. If you're dead set on not going past the muzzle, I think you have to stick with a +1 extension. Here's what my SuperNova looks like: The extension: There's the Mesa Tactical Side Saddle with the rail:
  4. I have the GGGAZ +2 magazine tube extension on my Super Nova. Looks pretty good and it's well built. It's only longer than the barrel by maybe half an inch. The three round would stick out more obviously.
  5. Definitely check them out. When I posted my comment I looked really quick just out of curiosity and they had the M4 Tactical and the M4 H20 both in stock online. And actually both were in stock at my local Cabela's. Also when I was first deciding on what to buy, I noticed that their stock changed pretty frequently, pretty much daily. So if they are sold out, there is a really good chance if you check the next day (I would often check a bit after midnight) they'll have it back in stock. Of course the opposite is true as well, I waited too long and one I was deciding was sold out when I came back after a few hours.
  6. What country/state do you live in? In the US I see M4s available online at Cabela's and Sportsman's Warehouse all the time. Both of those places will let you buy it online and they'll ship it to one of the stores local to you for free to pickup. Perhaps you don't live in a area with one of those (Cabela's is also Bass Pro), but that's just 2 chains that I see with M4s all the time. I'm sure that many other places will be similar.
  7. On the positive side, that stock that comes on it tends to be the more expensive and harder part to find. Getting a recoil tube with the additional positions was pretty easy. Assuming that was one of the key selling points for you. Also, don't know how it is in your area, but good luck getting them to take a gun back if you do decide to go that route.
