Finally got the 5 position installed. It took about 30 minutes with the heat gun to get the locking nut to loosen up, then another 5 to twist the original tube out. The Regal metal works 5 position tube had a tiny bit of wiggle but barely any so I went ahead and installed it. After about 15 minutes I noticed the buttstock wasn't totally centered but the loctite had already cured enough that I had to reuse the heat gun. Once I got the locking nut backed off the new recoil tube I grabbed the tube with an oven mitt and tried to wiggle it around. It had zero wiggle even with the locking nut backed off, so the loctite alone was enough to remove the small amount of wiggle it had before. As mentioned in the previous post the locking nut tightens everything up nice and solid. This thing is pretty awesome guys, I'm really happy with it.

Hey sorry for the late response. I've been working on other projects but I plan on getting the recoil tube installed this weekend. It sounds like Steve also had an experience with a loose recoil tube. I understand the locking nut should take out the slop but I'd rather not settle for a loose fitting recoil tube on a $2k shotgun. I will keep everyone posted and worse case scenario if mine is also loose fitting I will let ya'll know how the experience of trying to get a replacement is.

I pray this is not an issue with mine. I've heard great things about the owner being easy to contact and make things right... but I'd rather not have to deal with that. I'll keep y'all posted on how mine fits. Thanks for the updates Stranger!

As I said in the post above they seem to be coming with drain holes now. They are also on sale at the moment for $150. Did you get yours in to review? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Just purchased a 5 position tube and it came WITH DRAIN HOLES and with the flex ring installed. This thing is a piece of art and definitely an upgrade.
