  1. I installed the 8.5" Briley on my M4 and loved it until putting around 200 slugs and high velocity 00 through it. The guard became a bit loose and could be rotated very slightly but annoyingly. Tightening the end cap as far as possible did not help! I recently bought and installed the B&T guard which is a bit heavier but remains perfectly rigid and to me, is a superior product.
  2. Thank all of you that helped me with the stock removal. It was driving me crazy.
  3. I just ordered the B&T rail because my Briley ($285) has developed a small amount of rotational play which cannot be eliminated by tightening the mag cap as far as possible and which did not become manifest until putting about 200 heavy 00 buck and slugs through the gun. I did not realize there was a "filler" piece as part of the B&T setup which appears to me that you must remove each time you want to get to the ARGO pistons....yes? Sounds annoying and I'll see how I like the B&T. If a PIA, I'll go back to stock polymer grips and consider the $700+ I've spent on two tries, an expensive experiment!
  4. I have tried several muzzle brakes on two different shotguns including the M4. These include the "Mighty" tank knockoff. I could never perceive any difference whatsoever in terms of recoil but did notice a weight difference. Buy more ammo!
